Avedis Zildjian Company 14 inch I Series Crash Cymbal (ILH14Cd1)

Great low price for this crash. It was shipped really fast and sounds great. It’s a nice cross between a crash and splash. It’s thinner than a more expensive cymbal, but that’s what I’d expect for the price. It’s clearly Zildjian quality, which is the best around. I use a mostly electronic kit, with a few acoustic elements, so I guess you could say it’s a hybrid. This is a nice addition. I also have a Zildjian K-splash and Zil-Bel. Excellent quality and sound on those too. I’m definitely a Zildjian snob.

I've played mostly "A" Zildjians my whole life. I was looking for a trash crash and the ones I found locally either didn't have the sound I wanted or were too expensive. This is the first cymbal I've bought online without listening to it first-I figured since it's returnable I'd take a chance. Very glad I did! Looks great and more importantly sounds great! Tone is in between my 16'" thin crash "A" and my 18" dark crash Sabian HHX. Plus it has the rough trashy sound--nice contrasting effect. This is also the first cymbal I've ever bought that was in the original factory bag from Zildjian. Nice. I do wish Amazon had packed it better--mine arrived without problems but they literally just put the cymbal in a 2 foot x 3 foot x 5 inch box and taped it shut. No padding or packing of any kind. Amazon packers--you can do better!

I bought a used one and it was like new! I love it so much. Sounds amazing. Beautiful. The highest quality.

I've always been a big fan of Zildjian cymbals, and this one just has "you get what you paid for" quality. If you're just looking for something to beat the heck out of and practice on this one works but don't expect studio quality out of this cymbal. My cymbal clearly has weak points as it warps while playing and I have to push it back into place, doesn't really affect the sound but it's concerning given that I destroyed my last Pearl cymbal so I hope this one actually lasts a bit longer. It's a pretty thin build, to be honest I wish I would've just spent a bit more money for a higher quality cymbal but I give it 4 stars because it's honestly great value for beginners and it still has a relatively decent sound.

As others have noted -- this is not an expensive cymbal. Given that, you shouldn't be too surprised if it cracks after a couple of years. Mine has nearly made it three years, but the crack slowly working its way from the center out to the edge has forced me to order a replacement. No issues with the sound. The durability is what it is for the price.

I bought this to replace an 18" zildjian heavy ride which wouldn't crash. I love this new cymbal. It's very crisp on the cymbal and bell nad makes a fab crash. It makes me want to upgrade my hi-hta next.

Zildjian cymbals are World Class !!!! This item was worth the money I spent. .. I'll probably hand it over to the next generation of drummers !!!! Thanks guys 👌🏻
