When I bought a suction cup cat hammock for the window, my felines loved it. Every day they were in the window looking out into the world and napping... but a few days in there were issues. The suction cups kept coming off! When they did the window hammock would fall and frighten my cats and knock them off the perch. When they actually started to stick right... the area where the hammock support clip was attached broke. I bought 2 hammocks so I replaced the broken suction cup with another. It broke. I did the same with the last one... it broke. Longingly my cats looked at the window where their favorite hammock used to hang. I couldn't bear the way they pawed at the curtains. Then the hunt began. A suction cup with something to attach the hammock supports to. No average hook would do since one of my cats was a massive 15 lb monster. And finally I found THESE. Strong, a knight in shining armor... they came in and stuck to the window where they were needed. Dramatic music played in the background as one hook and then a second was clicked in place; a perfect fit. I am very pleased with this product. I used these to hang towels from tiled shower. They installed very easy and adhered with ease. I have not had any issues with the hooks falling off the wall so far. I recommend and will purchase again.

These suction hooks do exactly what they're supposed to do. I installed two on a glass panel adjacent to my shower door (to hold a couple of bath towels), and they look okay. I wouldn't say they're attractive, but they are somewhat unobtrusive. They have no problem supporting the weight of a damp bath towel. My only complaint is that they seem to allow air to leak very slowly into the suction cups. Despite having carefully cleaned the underlying glass panel, I end up having to twist the suction-inducing knobs once a week or so (about a quarter of a turn each time) to maintain good adhesion. You can only do this so many times before you eventually have to remove and re-install the hooks, but it seems I'll have to do that only three or four times a year. I can live with that.

I received these hooks yesterday and immediately installed them in my shower. They are very sturdy and really adhere to the tile in the shower. They hold my razor, a puff, and a squeegee. I had to move one of them because the squeegee was wider than the space I originally put the hook. It took a bit of effort to remove the hook and place it somewhere else, which showed me how tightly it clings to tile. I love them and totally recommend these!

Even though this requires no tools, I noticed one customer had a total fail with this, and I believe it was because of not following the instructions plus not having experience doing things like this. Someone who works with his hands, has failed at things and figured them out, that's the sort of person to put these up without a fail. I've copied another customer's instructions and pasted them below, but I would add this, clean the surface thoroughly, rinse it and make sure it is dry before installation. As you're putting it up and tightening it, be sure it is oriented in a level fashion. The installation in the pic is on an acrylic wall material. Anything similar, plus glazed and without a bumpy surface tile, or glass will work fine. Think out carefully the placement as I'm not sure how easy it is to remove if you get it wrong. If the sticky pad gets dirty or dusty before installation it will be ruined and you'll need a replacement which I believe is available separately. From Jack: The SANNO Vacumn Hook Suction Cups hold brilliantly. Just be sure to follow the instructions with, in my opinion, the two most important instructions. 1. Place the suction cup (all black) where you want it to be mounted and press it to the spot using your fingers and thumb. Be sure to press all parts of the cup. 2. After affixing the cover and hook to the suction cup be sure to tighten it as hard as you can. Now here is the VERY important part: after step two do NOT use the hooks right away. Wait for one hour and then re-tighten the the knob. You will be surprised at just how much tighter you can make it after that one hour wait. Finally, be sure the surface is smooth. Putting it on a textured wall will most likely result in the unit falling off the wall. Yes, I am very happy with these hooks. So far I have purchased four units.

I've had a pair of these for around a year and can say that they have a limited time span to stay stuck to the wall. I first hung one on a ceramic tile wall in a bathroom that was not in the shower. After 2 weeks I had to remove it to have some work done in that room. Putting it back on the wall, it fell off after 3 weeks. Each time that I put it back on it fell off in shorter lengths of time until it would not stay on for more than one hour. So I junked it. After several months I put up the second hook in the same area and it stayed in place for about 3 months before falling off. I put it back up two more times, but it fell both times within a few hours without hanging anything on it. These aren't worth having.

Great item, easy to use and fit the strength is defo there stuck it up ages ago and is still hanging great.
