Rinehart RhinoBrute Target

I love these targets. Easy to remove field tips and broadheads, and the self healing foam holds up to a lot of shots and abuse. The day-glow paint contrasted with black foam makes it easy to see at long ranges. Rinehart targets are not the cheapest but the durability and longevity are worth the extra cost.

This is the third Brute I have purchased. Not due to shooting it out, but rather to put out in my back yard range. These are the best targets for the money you can spend! They will last and last. The oldest I have is now 3 years old and still stops arrows no problem. It is worth spending a little more to not have to replace each season. Great product !

This purchase was worth every penny. The manufacturer states that if you can destroy this target in the first year of ownership they will give you a new one. I don't see that as a possibility. My archery range was a 30 minute drive from my house so I had to come up with an alternate solution and after using one of these at the range one day I placed an order immediately. It's a light, portable, and virtually indestructible target. Removing arrows can be a challenge at times so i recommend also purchasing a arrow remover. You can remove arrows by hand but it's gets tiring after a few rounds and I would rather save my energy for pulling back the bow string. Between the cost of the archery range and gas driving there this target has already paid for itself several times over. If you are looking for a backyard target that will stand the test of time I highly recommend this product.

Con: I've seen targets with this type of paint job go for cheeper on clearance websites, Broad heads are way easier to remove then feel tips, I would not recommend for a crossbow, I had purchase an arrow puller to deal with field tips reluctancey to come out, The black and neon green is a lot harder to hit at 50/60 yards than a white Bullseye. Maybe it's just my eyes?

After reading through the internet, I was stressing about buying this target. I shoot a ravin R29 and was worried about the speed and friction of the arrows. So, I quickly ordered some " arrow slick" , because it was 1 day shipping. Well.... I unboxed the target yesterday and placed 5 shots @40 yards. To my surprise, every one of them came out with 1 gentle tug. I definitely have to place a knee on the opposite side of the target from my arrow, But they all pulled out easily. I'm super excited now. Seems like it will be a fantastic target.

target seems to hold up well. I am shooting NAP Spitfire 100 gr out of a 333 fps crossbow. The arrows penetrate about 5 inches. For removing mechanical broadheads, I find it easiest to lay the target on its back and pull the arrows straight up. Haven't tried it with field tips yet.

The block stopped the bolt from theBarnett Predator crossbow at both 10 (9.5" penetration) and 20 yds (7" penetration). Then, they would not come out. No amount of pulling, with and without a puller would work. Even with someone else standing on the block - just would not release the bolt.

Target is great but the quality of the paint job is not what you would expect for spending that kind of money. Lots of over spray like you would find with a stencil and spray can.

I paid almost $300 for this target with shipping and I still think it was worth it. It's easy enough to carry around but not so light that it moves with each shot. The self healing foam is great. This thing will last forever.
