Women's 50D Ankle High Sheer Stocking Socks

I almost let some of the reviews scare me away from Fitu’s 50D ankle socks. I am so glad I bought them anyway! I have a size 6.5 wide foot, where the top of the sock rests on my leg is 3 inches up from my ankle and is 9 inches in circumference. The socks fit perfectly with a band that’s stretchy enough for them to stay up without being tight. The fabric is soft and stretchy, and thicker than hosiery but slightly lighter weight than nylon trouser socks. The set I received is absolutely 50D. The reinforced toes are slightly thicker which protects from wear, and the toe seam is straight, very thin and comfortable. I used a lingerie bag, machine washed on cold and hung the socks to air dry. They look and wear as good as new. Some of the photos and comments contributed by reviewers complain about snagged and roughed up socks with holes, and tearing easily. This is usually the result of sharp toenails and rough, dry skin on the feet, especially heels which can damage any thin sock, and tear up bedsheets for that matter. It’s unreasonable to expect a 50-denier sock to withstand that kind of abuse. I absolutely love these socks. Since they’re such great quality I likely won’t need to purchase more for a long time, unless they come out with colors. If they add colors to the collection, I’m in!

As an Underdresser, I love love love these ankle stockings! The sheerness and fit are great! Buy some and you won’t regret it! The 10-pak will last me forever.

These stockings are perfect. They are comfortable and don't slide.

I wear this a lot when I wear short boots or wedges sandals. It will start to wear out after 5 days if you walk a lot in heels. As you can see in this video. But it looks good! Looks like an elegant girl in sandals. Sometimes you take your shoes off and show your nylon feet’s, it will make your feet look elegant like me in those photo. Also if you have sweaty feet like me, and you wear boots or close toed heels like me. This sock will make your feet less smelly. I smelled my nylon feet and they only began to smell after 5 days. So not bad socks!

the good: slightly thicker than most very durable sleek and feel good on your skin good color if you have fair skin like mine, and have a nice subtle shine that I like. the (maybe) bad: they don't have much stretch in any part. if you have big ankles they might be too tight. if you have feet like mine (size 7 and skinny ankles) it's a perfect fit. much over and you'll be cramped. a bit too short for my taste. I can only wear them with full-length trousers. even my ankle length slacks show the top elastic, which I hate. overall I love them and would buy again and recommend

Lightweight but I find it tears easily just by pulling or friction. But I would buy it again.

These socks are absolutely amazing! They fit true to size and are the perfect amount of compression

Socks to wear with my dance shoes! They are thin like a nylon stocking, but only ankle high, so they will work very well with pants. The colors I chose were black and tan, one to match my pants, one to match my skin tone. They fit my small feet very well, as there are no defined heels, more of a tube sock, but they stay put. The ankle is not so tight that it cuts into my leg, but I do have smaller ankles, so if you have thick ankles they may not work for you. They are super soft and stretchy, and stay up around my ankle without bunching up or slipping down into my shoes. I think they will work very well for how I will use them. The slip on easily and I'm glad I don't have to wear knee high socks to get this effect.

I like the texture. They are perfect with long slacks. Better than long stockings, for comfort and looks.

These ankle socks are great quality. They feel soft, fit well, and the reinforced toe makes them more durable than others I’ve tried. Getting them in a gift box is a nice bonus. Overall, definitely worth the price!

Amazing and comfortable

For me these are "hands down" the best nylon trouser Sox on the market. They are the ONLY 50 denier ones I could find on Amazon, all the rest are much much thinner (15-30). They are a bit on the light side color wise but still look great with shorts and sneakers, or whatever. Great quality and the price makes them almost disposable. I hand wash a few pairs in the sink and just let em air dry. Slipping into loafers is a breeze!
