From what i've read, the laurastar lift is a lemon. too many problems with the power button and the soleplate leaks water?

I purchased this model in July 2020 and use it 2-3 times a week for several hours at a time and haven't experienced any of those issues. For me, its been a pleasure to use and has reduced my ironing time by almost half. I was very impressed by the quality and design of the product and so far it hasn't let me down yet.

How do I put this in continuous-on mode? I don’t want it to auto shut off.

Make sure the iron is off and then press an hold the power button for about 10 seconds or until the light starts blinking. This does indicate that the auto shut off has been overridden.
