Metallic taste from travel-size packets? If you use the non-travel, bottle kind, how does this compare-is there an added taste from the packet lining?

Hi there, I'm afraid I've not used the travel size product but have used the standard size many times and have never experienced a metallic taste. I am an avid lemon water (fresh squeezed only) drinker and mix this in with it without any adverse taste effects. I have used it with straight water too. Didn't notice anything different but I'll take a guess that the water type and quality matters? i.e. hard water may leave a metallic taste? I have 2 purifiers on my home as the providers water is very hard (high calcium)
