Review: No More Secrets: It's Time for Disclosure! - If you like to dance, you probably already own this album, but if you don't & you like to dance, buy it. It's that good. Nominated for the 2013 Mercury Prize for best album & named by Rolling Stone as one of top 50 albums of the year, "Settle" is basically an album of house music, but house music done exceedingly well. Guy and Howard Lawrence, two brothers, make up the group Disclosure & their influences are deep house & UK garage. Along with their influences they also have a good ear for melody. Their rhythms are clean & irresistible - they make you wanna move! While the melodies are fresh & inviting, -- transporting, really. Close your eyes and you're there, on the dance floor, whether 20 yrs ago, 10 yrs ago, or now. Disclosure touches all the bases. The Lawrence Brothers are young but their musical knowledge of the genre is deep & impressive. They know what works & nearly everything on "Settle" works beautifully. Buy it. You won't be disappointed.

Don't judge an album by its cover!
I absolutely love this album, best electronic album of the summer in my opinion. I am too lazy to break down my thoughts on each track, but I would estimate I absolutely love 80% of the tracks and "like" the remaining ones. The vocals are great, I love the sultry vocals, loops and hooks peppered throughout. A dance album that works for the dancefloor, but has the depth to be appreciated in the car or through your headphones. If you love independently produced dance music, and tire of the constant deluge of derivative DJ drivel, I can't imagine a better album to pick up this year.

My faith in EDM has been rejuvenated
A friend showed me the extremely catchy single known as "Latch," and then I proceeded to dig up information about this up and coming electronica duo. "F for You" definitely became a personal favorite, so I ended purchasing the entire album and was not disappointed by the rest of the tracks. That persistent kick drum and snare, combined with synths and modulated bass lines work together magically to make each song dance-floor worthy. The vocal performances only add an element of emotional content, which further takes a hold of your internal rhythm. One of the most exciting and catchy albums from an electronic group I have heard in some time, paving the way for more originality and underrated tracks, amid the craziness and varying styles in the wide genre of EDM. Thank you Disclosure, for a breath of fresh air and raising the bar. I highly recommend this album, and look forward to next releases from these innovative young artists.

One of the best albums of 2013
This record is fantastic, start to finish. Every song on here is great in its own way, and I couldn't wait to have a party at my house just so I could blare this record in my basement in the hopes that my friends would dance (they did). I mean FFS I played "White Noise" at my wedding, and dancing with my wife to that song will be one of my happiest memories for the rest of my life. The more I listen to these songs, the more I've become obsessed with "Defeated No More" and I'm so glad that they collaborated with Edward Macfarlane on that track. I can't wait to see what else Disclosure does in the future.

Great Disk
This is a great disk and is best to buy it when you just want to listen to it. If you are collecting, its still good but there are some flaws. Overall, 10/10

Well, I'm a convert. Let me firstly state that this is an absolutely brilliant pop / house / garage LP from two extraordinarily talented brothers. Having said that, I only got into their music through osmosis. Zane Lowe's constant championing of the band allowed me to hear their glossy, shiny singles (i.e. the more commercial stuff) while cooking / cleaning in the evenings. I bought the album not exactly knowing what to expect, but it didn't - and still doesn't - let me down in any way. I can happily listen to it from start to finish and not skip a track. It's quite simple - there aren't layers and layers of sounds - but it's effective and catchy and the Lawrence brothers not only know how to write a song, they also have impeccable taste in guest vocalists. This is a great debut, but what's really exciting is I get the sense they could be like the Chemical Brothers or Orbital and produce classic album after classic album. Here's hoping ...
