Absolutely perfect.
I have not tiled a floor before and after getting some right silly quotes I decided to tackle it myself. I thought I’d try this set as I have a large area to do and didn’t like the idea of all the wastage the other sets have. It was unbelievably easy with this system. Ended up with a near perfectly level floor! Very impressed. The levelling system is incredibly easy to use, simply screw the tiles tight. I used 4 per tile (one per corner) just to ensure each tile is level with the last. To remove, I followed some reviews and removed the spaces after a few hours before the adhesive cured fully. The spaces removed incredibly easily. None broke and with a quick wash, they are ready to use again. Now braving a few more rooms!

GREAT TILE LEVELLER
Game changer for levelling tiles! - esp if laying large format tiles on uneven surfaces. I used them on 600 x 300 wall tiles in a brick pattern - made levelling sooooo much easier. Remember to remove them before the glue goes off as once it does they won't come out and you'll have to twist them until they snap off. Drop them into a bucket of water immediately they have been removed - they don't go rusty and its easier to clean them later once any glue residue has softened. Great product and if kept clean endlessly re-usable tho' could do with more than one spanner as easy to mislay - Highly recommended

Work well
Quite easy to use and do a good job. Points to watch are that with larger tiles these will not level the tile by themselves, the tiles need to be made reasonably level with a rubber mallet and then these will make the final small adjustment and fix the tile in place. Also need to be careful when tightening them, although they will move the toles slightly in a horizontal direction the screwing action can also move the tile sideways and care is needed to be sure that the gaps between the tiles is maintained. Final point is to take them out just before the adhesive has hardened up fully, if the adhesive is hardened then there is a high probability of the metal pin being broken rather than coming out. The tiles aren't going to move after about 3 hours anyway so this is not a major issue. Sounds a bit complex, but these really do a good job and give a great result.

Get professional looking results as an amateur...
In summary: These levelling spacers are just the job to get professional looking results at a fraction of the cost when compared to other tile levelling brands. There are some downsides, but all tile levelling systems have their pros and cons. Overall these are well worth the investment. Background: Before using these I had previously used another brands system which uses consumable plastic bases with reusable wedges to level and lock the tiles in place. Whilst effective these proved to be too expensive when using medium/ small floor tiles (as a lot are needed) and also had to be "adjusted" to get maximum "lock" as the holes in the plastic base were not big enough. The main advantage of this disposable clip was that once fitted you could forget about them until the next day where you kick them off to snap off the plastic tops. Any glue which had oozed out around the clips was then removed (whilst possible, was time consuming). Because of the cost I took the chance on the TOPWAY levelling clips, to see how they fared... The TOPWAY clips are easy to use when working with someone else. The T shape goes between 2 tiles and the orange top is twisted 90 degrees. Holding the orange top in this position, the black screw base is then tightened up. This is very effective at levelling the tiles, but having an extra person to hold the tile in position is helpful here. Without an extra person the tiles have a habit of moving as the clip is tightened. It is not impossible to work alone with these, but you will have more faff. One solution it to have a few short lengths of cls timber pressed up to the edges of the tiles that you kneel on as you tighten the clips. This stops sideways movements. Once fitted the really important thing is not leaving them in too long with rapid set adhesive. If you do and they get stuck you can remove them by twisting them, they will snap off just above the metal T shape, wasting a reusable clip. This can be avoided by twisting the T shape around a few times when you put the tile clip in initially. This doesn't add much time to the job and makes removal much easier (as adhesive is pushed out of the way). I removed most of the clips once the next batch of adhesive was about to be prepared (leaving the ones nearest the next tiles to be laid in place for a little longer). After removing the clips a good stiff brush is perfect to clean off the adhesive whilst it is "cheesy", leave it longer and you will have more work on your hands. Also as the clips were removed it was easier to clear up adhesive from around the tiles too. One final tip is to scrape out a small space under the leading edge of your laid tiles if you a pausing for a break as these clips will not be fitted so easily if the adhesive sets (this will stop you levelling the freshly laid tiles next to the previously laid tiles). How many to buy? I bought 200pcs but 100 would probably be sufficient (because there is a limit to how many you can actually lay before rapid set adhesive sets)and this would allow for some losses if your budget it tight. After laying about 30 square metres of smaller tiles I lost about 8 clips in total. Most of these were lost early on as I learned how best to use them. Bottom line: These are the clips I would buy first if I were starting out again.

Great leveller, absolute essential, only one downside
For my first tiling job, a chap at work recommended using levellers. I looked around a bit and watched lots of YouTube videos on different systems, then bought these. I've seen/read a lot of people who say a lot snap/break when you remove them. I've used at least 150 and haven't snapped a single one yet. I've tiled two walls now, have two more to go. Using rapid set mapei tile adhesive, 600x300mm,x9mm ceramic tiles, 3mm tile spacers, 10mm notch trowl. I think these things are great. I don't know how you'd get no lippage on large tiles without them. The tool/spanner they give is genuinely useful. Because the levellers effectively grip two tiles together, I've used them to great success in pulling all the tiles around an area to the correct position - I've on occasion used my teeth or called in a helper to turn the levellers in while I hold a tile in place with two hands. Don't expect too much from them, you have to work fast and stick them everywhere you need to. They won't really correct for poor or inconsistent tile adhesive on the walls, while is fine it's not what they're for. When finishing a section to knock up another mix, I used a collection of spacers with one of these levellers beneath it to ensure my final tile is the right distance off the wall. My one single criticism is that the leveler works as a (I think) 1.5mm tile spacer. I want a 3mm grout line, and getting normal tile spacers to stay in place while screwing the levellers in is frustrating. Perfectly doable, but if I could buy this leveller in 3mm version I'd pay thrice as much!

Wrong quantity
Fantastic product , however I’m not sure if they count the orange bit and nut as separate pieces ( ordered 200 and received 100 complete levellers . Spoke to Fathima at Amazon about this issue and she was next to useless . On the upside one of the best levellers I’ve used , and reusable BONUS

The greatest thing ever
Let me start off by saying I live in a old and wonky house.I had built a bathroom and wanted to tile it floor to ceiling. The floor slopes to the right the ceiling slopes to the left and the walls slope Outwards as they get towards the ceiling,so quite a challenging task. Also I hate tiling and had only tiled once before... Then I found these amazing items! These made the tiling a alot easier AND I didn't hate tiling anymore these have allowed me to tile to a professional finish. I would never ever tile again without these great little products. BUY THEM YOU WONT REGRET IT

They work really well
These work exactly as expected. I was pleasantly surprised how easy they are to use. Excellent value for money. They’ve allowed me to do a better job of tiling than the ‘professional’ tiler did on the other surrounding ones!

Great system
Easy to use and remove as long as they aren't left too long. Always pull them first thing the next day. Don't create a "void" like many other Leveling systems and good system for money. Especially handy if you use a 2 piece Leveling system and the base breaks off, these are used from surface, no base needed
