Telling you, the blue channel turned almost all the way down is brighter than the sb reef lights turned all the way up! And at this price??!!! I paid over $300 for each of the reef lights and two of these $100 lights easily outshines them!! I wish there was a tad more "full spectrum", but overall, I advise you get a few of these before word gets out about me and the price skyrockets Review: Very bright- good lateral coverage - I got this as a replacement for the 300w slim light- I had a 165w Relassy in my 40b and wanted better lateral coverage- which this delivers- brighter on all settings than the 165w- and for less money ( at least for the time being) great light, great price. The slim model I got I believe was not the updated version- more suited for fresh water- too much yellow in the whites. I'd like to take a look at the updated version of the 300w slim light sometime- planning/ building a 75g reef
