Gatorline 1-pound Round String Trimmer Line

This line is amazing. I run a solo lawn care business & I watch youtube guys all the time to try to find the most reliable low cost line and thus far this is it for me. I've tried Black Diamond Vortex .095" line and this stuff is way more durable than that. It eats up when you're edging with it a little bit but only if you have to "dig" with it in the crack. If you're just doing a maintenance run this stuff is unbeatable. The lighter weight not only allows you to load about 25-30' into the standard speed feed head, but also runs at a higher RPM so it has more speed when it hits the grass/weeds and works much more effectively. Some say it is quieter as well, but I tend to disagree with that. Either way i've got on hearing protection and noise is not an issue for me. The last point is it's super affordable for its durability which is the main reason I chose it. I'm sure there is better line out there but this stuff is great & cheap, and it' makes my business more efficient not having to load as much line due to the extra you can fit in the head, and it's longer lasting durability.

No problems at all with the line. It works just fine. But about the second time I needed to dispense some, I dropped the plastic shell and of course it popped open. I wound up with a huge tangled mess of line trimmer line. I fetched an empty 3D printer filament spool and took about an hour winding it all back up onto the spool. Like I said, good product, but the packaging could use some improvement to make such mishaps more difficult.

Great weeding string. I was having constant bonding with my last twisted string I thought for a moment I may need to buy a new head but first I wanted to try some quality string. This stuff is great threaded it and it made short work with no binding during my edging along concrete sidewalk. Worth the price for a good amount of string. Very durable as well.

durable weed cutting trimmer line. Works well on my DeWalt 20v trimmer. as trimmer line does break off and wear out, polluting your yard with bits of plastic.... at least it blends in with the yard colors.

Incredible value and it looks like it will be able to handle my weeds and grass easily

A little over five years ago I replaced my heavy and hot gas trimmer for a lighter and cooler battery powered one. A great decision, but one that put me on a quest to find the best trimmer string for my situation. I tried 3 other brands before finding Oregon Gatorline. It cuts well, doesn't break off like the others, feeds like it's supposed to, and IMO is a far superior product when compared to all the others I've used. Good stuff! My search for the best trimmer line is over.

What can you say about weedeater line.

I finally needed to replace my Dewalt line and came across this one. It works well on my 18V trimmer so far and I’ve been quite impressed with its strength. It’s at least as strong as the Dewalt one. I was worried that it might turn out to be one of those lines that keep breaking but that definitely hasn’t been my experience. I’m using it on everything from sections of short lawn through to stalky weeds along mesh fence lines.
