Simple, Reliable Cable That Works Exactly as Expected
This cable has worked great so far. The braided exterior feels durable and much stronger than the typical rubber cables that tend to wear out quickly. The connectors fit securely and make a solid connection without feeling loose or flimsy. Charging performance has been consistent and reliable, and data transfer works just as expected. The length is also convenient for everyday use without leaving a bunch of extra cable lying around. Overall it feels well made, dependable, and like it should last a long time. Definitely a good value and I would purchase it again.

I’d buy it again.
Seems like good quality, and it connected my BMW Garmin Navigator for my motorcycle to my laptop for updating without any of the glitchy issues I’d had with other cables.

Good (specific) USB cable, no issues.
This is a very specific cable type, but I needed one that went from a USB-C only laptop port to an older style USB Micro connector for an electronics project. It works perfectly, and I've been using it for about 4 months without issue. Durable, no compatibility issues, and no stability issues. Decent value for money.

Probably good cable, may not work on all phones.
This cable probably has its use and I think it works better on certain phones and it does on others. I could not get it to work on the two phones I have to transfer the data from one to the other. The instructions are when you plug the cable in it's supposed to trigger a transfer on one phone or the other and as far as could be seen, that did not happen. So, I had to transfer as much data as possible through Bluetooth and or Wi-Fi. So, didn't work for me.

Feels great. Good for Wacom CTH480 tablet.
Using this for my Wacom CTH480 drawing tablet - just barely squeezes in (the tablet's Micro USB port is recessed, so the entire cable has to fit into the hole to make it to the port). Great cable. Comes rolled in a coil and, surprisingly, unrolls completely straight.

Great 'Transition' Cables to Tide Older Devices over the USB-C Adoption Wave
There aren't many reputable brands out there that manufacture USB-C to MircoUSB cables out there today but I'm glad that CableMatters is one of them . With the USB-C Interface slowly becoming mainstream which is expected make all other connectors (USB-A, USB-B etc) obsolete very soon - Many of you will find yourselves , Just like I found myself, stuck with as many as three different types of cables/charger types in your homes during this 'transition' period . We have a newer Macbook with USB-C connector , a Samsung Galaxy S6 & S6 edge with older Mirco USB connectors and these cables were just what the doctor ordered so I purchased two of them for our household. Performance ------------------- Not all cables are created equal , in-fact a cheap or poorly manufactured cable can severely limit the amount of current it can carry and charge your devices as slower speeds no matter how powerful your charger is. Thus, I tested these cables for their quick charge performance using a USB-C Quick charger and compared its performance to the OEM Samsung Charger using a top of the line Anker Powerline 20AWG cable, A Samsung OEM Cable and measured if the CableMatters cables performed as good as them. The power readings were taken using a wall socket power monitor (see pics) CableMatters Cable Supplied Power = 14.8 Watts i.e ( 1.65 A at 9 Volts) Anker PowerLine Cable Supplied Power = 14.2 Watts i.e (1.57 A at 9 Volts) Samsung OEM Cable Supplied Power = 14.8 Watts i.e (1.65A at 9 Volts) As you can see that the CableMatters cable performs as good , if not better than a top of the line premium 20AWG or OEM Cables The Good ---------------- - Nylon braided construction gives the cable good resistance to wear and tear due to bends - Performs as good as the one of the top of the line 20AWG & OEM Mirco USB cables - Small connectors means it should be able fit through most cases even the ones with small openings - Both USB-C and Mirco USB-B connectors fit securely - Lifetime warranty means peace of mind should they fail at any time Not So Good -------------------- - None at this price point really, But if I were to nit pick the smallest of the details then - As the nylon braiding adds rigidity, they arent very flexible. This is expected however Overall I am very happy with my purchase and can definitely recommend these cables to you If you have multiple devices in your home with USB-C and Micro USB connectors and dont want to use or carry around 2 separate chargers for them for travel etc. They are a perfect fit as a transition cable as USB-C becomes mainstream

"Cable Matters" Really Does Matter—Especially When It's Braided!
Well, well, well, if it isn't the "Cable Matters" Braided USB C to Micro USB Cable, also known as the Clark Kent of cables. It looks unassuming, but don't let that fool you. This cable is here to save your day, your phone, and quite possibly your sanity. First off, let's talk about the braid. The cable's got a better braid than Rapunzel! Honestly, I feel like it could rescue me from a tower if it needed to. Not that I have a tower or that I'm a damsel in distress, but you get what I mean. I've got it at 3.3 ft, better know as 1 meter, which is precisely the right length to trip over if you're not paying attention, but just long enough to comfortably scroll through your phone while it's charging. But, due to its sturdy build, even if you do trip over it, it's not going anywhere. Now, let's not forget its most essential function: charging and data transferring. This cable does it faster than you can say "Wait, where's my charger?" It's the Usain Bolt of cables, sprinting through the data transfer like it’s going for a gold medal. Some cables only charge but don't do data so I was happy that the data transfer works perfectly on this one. In a world full of generic, break-after-a-week cables, this one stands out like a flamingo at a penguin party. It's braided, it's sturdy, and it's got both USB C and Micro USB ends. What more could a person ask for? How about a velcro cable wrap to keep it tidy when not in use, oh, wait, they included one of those too!

This is my first Cable Matters product, and I'm truly impressed.
I needed a cable to wire into a 32bit Audio DAC. All of my standard cables i had laying around from back in the day (micro usb) would produce a random click. The cause was signal interference. I was trying to find a high quality cable that was braided, shielded, ferrite tipped, and long enough to make the distance. But every ferrite beaded cable i could find didn't seem to be the quality i needed. So i ordered a pack of clip on ferrite beads, and this cable to check all my boxes. I'm writing all of this to illustrate how good this cable alone really is, because I've been testing it with out the bead for a couple hours now. The music is flawless and clear of clicking, and I swear it sounds even cleaner than before as well. The EMI/RFI shielding is clearly doing its job. I wasn't expecting the cable itself to be a stiff as it is to flex, i could tell as soon as i uncoiled it, that it was quality. I normally say if i would buy this again, but I don't think I'll ever need to. I will being looking for Cable Matters cables going forward though.
