Works great across loft. From lr below can hardly notice. Easy to put up. Plenty of zip ties and foot plates if you want yo use them. Keeps 2 yr old safe.

I have a little visitor staying for a few weeks and my balusters seemed to be a little too far apart. This was a quick and easy solution to a possible accident. It took around 15 minutes to secure and was super cost effective.

This is very good at keeping my small puppy from tumbling out of the stairs overlooking the front entrance of the house. I was happy to see that it included clear plastic anchors that you can stick to the floor between the spindles of the bannister, to attach the net to, because we don't have the "bottom rail" they show in all the photos. 10/10 for small dog. This is not great at all for cats. It is extremely easy for the lm to scale it like an army ranger and now sit up on the bannister itself, much higher and more dangerous than they used to get. 0/10 for cats. Still, cats more agile and we did technically get it for the dog. It is unsettling to see the cats so high now though. They're surely planning something.

I was very pleased. The banister guard was exactly what I wanted. Easy to put up and helps to keep my cat from going through the slates in the banister, as our belcolny is on the second floor.

This banister guard was easy to install. I installed it with my husband in less than 30 minutes. I will say to not stretch it too much (width) because that will take away from its length. That's what I did so my entire railing isn't covered from top to bottom even though its 3 feet tall. Maybe one day I'll fix it. It still discourages my toddler from throwing toys so I haven't fixed it. My toddler is 15 months old and loves throwing toys through the balcony railings. This has stopped her from doing so. Some of the railings are loose and this has discouraged my toddler from pushing up against them. I still supervise her the entire time that she is out on the balcony but this gives me a piece of mind, as I live on the third floor of a building. I had plenty of zip ties after installing so I can take along with my after I move. it was too long for my balcony so I just wrapped the extra material around the railings at the end. Overall, good product.

Maybe this works for some types of railings, but for ours it is quite difficult to get a solid anchoring on the top, sides or bottom due to the nature of our rail. Our top rail is basically a 2 by 4, and the zip ties barely get around it, we have no bottom horizontal rail as our slats go straight into the ground, so we just had to tie it tight to the vertical bars allowing kids to pull it up when they are so inclined, and the sides have to be tied onto the final vertical bar leaving gaps between that one and the wall (at the place of highest drop in our case). Does it keep the kids and their stuff mostly contained? Yes. Is it an eyesore and by-passable with a little effort? Also yes.

This worked perfectly for our little grangirl visit during the thanksgiving holiday. It was easy to install. This guard fit perfectly around our stairs. It’s flexible, durable and sturdy. It looks nice and wasn’t an eyesore.

So far it is working for my toddler who likes to hangout near my catwalk. Easy to install. I could have gotten a longer though but I like this item.

It’s not as the pictures. I was looking for netting with holes in the hem line, not just by using the mesh. The illustrations show holes along the white hemmed part and there’s nothing on what I received. Bamboozled!!
