When replacing the screen, will I still have True Tone functionality?

To retain True Tone you need to reprogram an eprom on the new screen with data from the old screen which requires another device to perform the operation.

Do you have to swap over camera?

On the iPhone xr the camera assembly (both front and rear) are contained within the base of the phone, not the screen assembly. The only thing that I needed to swap over was the ear piece/speaker assembly.

None of the 3 tools it came with will get out the first two screws out.  now i'm afraid ive stripped the screws. which color tool do i use?

For the first two screws on the bottom of the phone on either side of the charging port you will need the driver called the pentalobe driver, it will have a shape similar to a star. The color on the driver varies depending on which they sent with your repair kit, could be blue or yellow, not sure. Just look at the tip, it should have multiple points like a star. If it’s stripped don’t panic, you have options. The first would be to try either a rubber band or tin foil, put it on the tip of the screwdriver before trying to unscrew the stripped screw. This “should” fill in the stripped area and give for contact to the screwdriver. Next try super glue, just be very careful to only get it on the tip of the driver and the screw and not the case, wait for it to dry then try to remove screw. The next few require a bit more knowledge and skill so it may not be something to try. Something that worked for me on the Y000 screws inside the phone that were stripped was to “carve” a line in the back with a dremel or a file then use a flathead to unscrew. Last would be to solder the screw to your driver but I would advise against this as the heat needed to get the solder to stick to the screw would damage the case. Your best bet is to simply try different sized pentalobe drivers or possibly even use very small Philips screwdrivers if you have any available.

TLDR; look for the driver that has a star shape to it called a pentalobe. 
 If stripped your best bet is to try different sized drivers or use a rubber band or foil on top of screw before unscrewing.
