Brilliant. I love this thing! It was one of these: this is either going to be brilliant or completely useless, and I'm happy to say, it turned out great! It works a treat, super easy to use. I love it that I do not need to pfaff around with huge machines, plugging them in, putting in bags, heating or not.... It's just this little plastic pump that's it. It sucks out air fast, even out of the bigger bags. I have a small dehydrator and only have 1-2 bags per load. I also use it when we have chips or chinese noodles that would go stale, extra spices from bigger bags to stop them from going moldy. I've had it a week and have used it a bunch. The bags seem to seal well and stay sealed. It come with so many bags that I doubt I'll have to buy any new ones soon. The pump is only plastic, but there's no reason it should not last if it's treated well. This is exactly what I wanted.

These bags are excellent. They don’t have any seal problems at all. Everyone I had worked compared to other brands I bought. I’m going to continue buying this brand they do freeze they do hold up well. The little pump is a little excellent actually, but the tip comes off at all the time you put it back on it works perfect.

These work great but I just wish I wud have gotten small we sizes the storage I needed wasn't enough to fill the bags they r easy to use and very durable . The seal helps the storage bag stay sealed and the storage capacity was a little much but very durable

So far, very good. At first I thought it was not working because I could not see the bag deflate. After about ten pumps it started and didn't take too long to complete the vacuum. Use force to hold the pump down. I could detect no air in the bag. Before this I was inserting a straw into the corner of the ziplock bag, sealing it up to the straw, sucking out all the air I could, then quickly sealing the bag. This tool is much better and easier. I am storing my meat in the freezer in these vacuum bags in small portions. I will amend this review when I learn how many times I can reuse the bag and what happens when you overfill the bag. From Reddit I learned to clean the bag with soap and vinegar.

I’ve bought these sous vide bags before, and I love them; they’re really useful for putting things up in the freezer as well, as they come in various sizes and you can pump all the air out of the bag. As other consumers have noted, sometimes it’s really difficult to get the vacuum seal started – it takes a lot of pumping before the seal “resets itself”, and starts letting you pull the air out. I’ve used these for long enough now that I know the routine, and generally get it to work in fairly short order. I know from other reviews that a lot of people give up before they get to that point, which is kind of a shame. Unfortunately, the pump as well as several bags were missing from this package. Since I had intended to give it to somebody as a gift, I needed it to be a complete set. Since it wasn’t, I returned it.

COULD NOT SEAL BAG. PUMP TOO SMALL FOR THE JOB. BAGS ARE GOOD SISE AND THE PINCH SESL WAS GOOD. COUD NOT VACCUM SEAL SO BAG IS USELESS.

For now it's 5 stars because it actually works. I was disappointed when I opened this. The bags just feel like slightly thicker ziplock bags. I guess I was expecting something more silicone and not just plastic. BUT... they're working. The suction thing worked to get the air out of the bag and dinner is cooking via sous vide as I speak. I don't know how long these will last, but I'm gonna try to make them last as long as possible. They appear to be the same sizes as regular ziplock bags with the biggest being gallons. MAYBE a little bigger?

At first, I nearly tossed the product because I thought it was so poor. Despite appearances, I decided to test it out. To my surprise the bags did hold a perfect seal for quite a while. But I also discovered that the hand pump is (ridiculously poorly made) junk. The bags deserve a five-star but the hand pump that they include in the set, deserves less than one star. I already owned a mechanical (rechargeable) handheld pump which works perfectly with this product. I sometimes use Ziploc sandwich bags for portion control. I seal portions inside ziplock food bags and then put it inside these sous vide bags and my mechanical pump removes the air from both the inner portion bags, the ziplocs (that speaks to how airtight those sandwich bags are) and the actual vacuum bag. They are reusable. I have not found out how many times you can vacuum seal a bag, I've not reached a limit yet. I'm constantly pulling things out of the freezer, opening it and removing what I need. So far they've worked perfectly after resealing it. I absolutely adore them and have already purchased more bags. I use them in the refrigerator for produce protection, in the freezer to prevent freezer burn, and for dry storage (but not powders). The seal on the bag is super strong, way better than anything I've ever experienced. They have a large size that I believe will work with documents so I'm planning on protecting some important documents that way. I also recommend using the little closing tool that they provide and I just leave it in a handy spot on the counter when I'm not using it. Please note: The seal on these bags are not designed for liquids or powders, if you vacuum too strongly or too long, it will pull the liquid/powder through the vacuum seal as well. This potentially could go through the machine and wreck your pump.

Reçu en bonne condition malgré l’emballage faible. Les sacs sont de bonnes dimension. Il est facile à utiliser. Quelques difficulté avec certains sacs mais j’ai fini par bien sceller la nourriture. Probablement dû à la petite valve du sac. Voir à bien sceller la glissière.

Absolute garbage. The "valves" are just a piece of plastic without even a hole in them so when you use the pump no air is drawn out. And if you put a hole in it, then the air would flow back in! From the other reviews I see that lots of people are saying the same thing so I didn't just get a bad batch. Utter ripoff.

This was just a game changer for me. I've been sous viding for awhile, using my vacuum/seal machine until it broke. Had 2 of these machines. Well, with these bags and pump you get the same result, with no machine. For 30sgd? I wish I knew this product before!

Aunque al inicio cuesta un poco de trabajo aprender a usarlas, después son muy utiles. Resisten muy bien tanto a bajas como altas temperaturas, ojalá tuviera más bolsas el paquete.

Dislike: the pump, after many uses, either wears out or the handle breaks; the different size of bags is great as I sous vide (and also store) food a great deal; but the down side is they wear out or a small puncture occurs and renders the bags as useless! Likes: pump works great (and wonderful exercise for the arm); the sizes of bags are a wide range of storage and cooking uses.
