Both 8 and 16oz gas canisters nicely fit all the way into the narrow bottom part of the pot.

Will this work with my jetboil minimo burner ?

With a pot stand, sure. Having had happen and heard several more stories of Jetboil stoves melting the plastic stove support using them this way I probably would opt for a dedicated stove to use with these kettles instead.
