I got these for my daughter’s Star Wars birthday party. I got space themed decorations. Her 2 year old brother loved these lights so much, she strung them up beside his bed with command hooks. It comes with the capacity to use batteries or plug in with a USB connection. We have it plugged into a TV, and just manually switch it on and off. Most days it’s on all day. Sometimes it turns on and off by its self. I’m not sure if that’s the lights or the TV. It’s been 4 months and all the lights are still working. It never gets hot. My toddler loves taking the string on and off the hooks. It gets knocked off the hooks often, and still works fine. They are super cute, too!

These went in my sons space themed room and look amazing. I put them around the middle part of his bunk beds, I have them set up against the wall and the lights went around perfectly on the side that is showing (if that makes sense). They’re way bigger than I expected so that was a huge plus. They light itself is small but the design of the astronaut/ space/ spaceship is nice and big so they worked out perfect as his nigh light. He loved them I loved them I would definitely recommend and repurchase.

These were exactly what I was hoping for my daughter’s reading nook! They give a nice, soft glow and they have the option of being battery powered or plugged in via usb.

I love the space theme and the automatic function. You just put batteries in and it works! It went through RGB and then it started to have random individual color changes for each light. The diodes themselves are multicolor and somehow magically change color. There's almost zero electronics in the switch box. No remote needed, they're not too bright or dim. The only thing you might want is a USB extender. Note that 3xAA = 4.5V so a USB 2.0 extender is fine if you have an old one lying around. The color changing has no flash modes but that's OK, it's subtle and calming. That said the "color changing" one doesn't look exactly like the picture shown. The picture shows a rainbow effect. But the product has the individual charms changing from red to green to blue to teal to white to yellow... etc, not all at once, each one changes at its own paceIt must be something to do with voltage. As the voltage drops, with alkaline batteries, you get much more red, and much less blue. When the batteries are fresh, you get a lot more teal and blue. Use the USB if you don't want the voltage to modify the color fade. I've noticed this voltage issue with other color changing string lights. When the batteries wear down, you usually lose the blue colors. One thing you may want to know is that it doesn't have a timer. So if you forget it's on, it lasts about a day and a half which burns through batteries fast or makes you recharge a lot. There are battery eliminators for 3xAA batteries like Lenink brand for around $15. If you plan to use this a lot, consider removing the annoyance of batteries. There are plug in models and USB. The plug in can be hooked up to a timer more easily.

The good- the lights are super cute and bright enough but not overwhelmingly bright. I got the warm white. These are for my 2 year old son and he loves them! The bad- the only thing I have to complain about is they are made of plastic which isn’t the complaint. But when it was poured into the mold possibly some of them are stringy looking from the melted plastic. Also some of them look like they were scraped across concrete. Overall I’m satisfied with them.

These have been very nice lights. The shapes are very sturdy. The colors are bright. They have definitely held up well to a 5 year old taking them everywhere

These are really cute and for a grandson who loves space themed stuff, it works well. Not too bright that they make a great night light. He has a one-month-old brother who will probably enjoy it as well.

Slightly larger than expected but I’m glad. They are about as tall as my adult palm. You have the options to plug it in or use batteries. Because of where I wasnted to we use batters. The lights dim when the batteries are running low. We use it as a nightlight in my sons space themed room and he love it! They are long enough that they draped across the top of his long door closet. These are lovely! The acrylic figures are a decent size and they light up solid or blink. We are using the strand for an unreachable nightlight in our toddlers room. Would definitely buy again! They are powered with three AA’s or a USB plugin for a wall connector. Toddler approved, momma approved.

We love these little lights! They are so cute! We used them for a school space unit and now my kids hang them in their room as a little night light while they fall asleep. We’ve been using them daily for a few weeks now.
