Dermoscent Essential 6 Spot-On Skin Care for Small Dogs Up To 22 lbs, 4 Tubes

Our beloved little doxie suffers from vasculitis in one of his ears. He takes Pentoxifylline daily to help control it and while that worked in the beginning, over time we had to up his dosage from once daily to three times daily - the max. amount allowed for his size. Despite the increase the vasculitis was barely under control. The dry/flaky pustules on his ear just wouldn’t clear up. Our vet consulted with a friend of hers who practices wholistic veterinary medicine and was told about Dermoscent and advised her it might be our answer . After just 2 weeks use (once every 3 days) there was a very noticeable difference. The dried, bumpy and flaky skin began dissipating. After weaning him down to now once every 2 weeks, I am happy to report that as of today his ear looks and feels completely normal. We are continuing to wean him down and will probably end up with just a once a month maintenance application and in turn, we are also beginning to wean him off the Pentoxifylline in hopes he may be ablle to eventually go off it...all because of this product! The other thing this has aided in is his overall skin issues. Despite taking a daily allergy Rx for his seasonal allergies, when the pollen count is high it inevitably means he will develop a bad rash and angry, red hives. About 2 weeks ago exactly that happened. Despite his medicated shampoo and his daily allergy Rx the rash was horrible and he was miserable. About 3 days into it, it was time for his Dermoscent application and within 1 day he stopped his incessant scratching and licking and his horribly itchy and irritated skin was clear. Any time I can give him something “natural”, as opposed to prescription medication, I am a happy pup mom. I will never go without Dermoscent for our little guy! Update: this is my 4th purchase of this product and we are still thrilled with the results. Our pup’s vasculitis is barely noticeable now and he has been taken off the Pentoxifylline Rx and is only getting one application of this once a month. It has been a miracle worker for us!

This is great stuff. We tried it for my Yorkie who was beside herself with itchiness. She had chronic skin problems that came to a head one summer when she got a staph infection, and she was miserable. None of the special shampoos did anything to help. Our vet had seen this at a conference and heard that it had done wonders for some dogs. With nothing to lose, we tried it, and I am so thankful. It changed our dogs life! Not only did the chronic staph infection clear us, but so did the itching as well as the flaky skin problems that she'd had since she was a puppy. It didn't just help her, it CURED her. After a year or so (it might have been less), we didn't use it anymore, but the itchiness never returned. Amazing. I will note that because of her small size (5 lbs), we used it once every 2 weeks to start rather than every week. Then we backed off to once a month. We are now using it on our rescued Yorkie that has some major flakiness, hair loss, and itchiness. The flakiness has disappeared, and her hair is returning. The itchiness is reduced, but we are only about 6 weeks into treatment, and I'm hoping for a full recovery. I can't say enough good things about this product.

It seems to work ok , nice smell Dislike only 4 in a box and need to use often

I bought this for my dog because he started to have scabs on his ear tips. At first, I though he got his ears cut running through the bushes or something of that nature. But it persisted and after 6 months I knew it was not that. He was not scratching the ears or acted as if he was bothered by it, so I knew it was not any type of pest. I read upon this and I learned that this could be possibly due to poor blood circulation in those areas, or vasculitis. The reviews were great so I decided to try. In 2 days, his scabs started to disappear! The direction said to apply once a wk but I only did it once and it completely went away. Over time, it returned so I did it again and in 2 d's it started to disappear again! This makes my dog smell great due to the essentials oils in it and that is a plus. I highly recommend this to anyone who has similar issues with their dogs.

I haven't had this long enough to see how it impacts the coat, but am looking forward to the full results. Sounds almost too good to be true, but I did put the drops on last night after the quick delivery, and this morning, the scent has freshened the coats on both dogs I applied it to. Neither smells like a cover-up fragrance, but they smell fresh. I like the fact that this contains not only the essential oils that are so good for a lustrous, healthy coat, but also tea tree oil, which I swear by for treating minor skin conditions as well as fungal infections on a variety of rescue dogs over the years with great results resolving some of the worst conditions. Hard to believe a little drop on the shoulder could make a difference, but then that's what I remember thinking back in the years when Frontline first came out. Made by trusted drug company, Bayer, I trust it will be a quality product and look forward to providing a detailed review of the results in a few months.

Cannot say if it has helped my Cockapoo be less itchy, but it does help freshen up his coat and keep it nice between baths.

This product really does work to relieve the sores and itchy skin my dog used to have, especially on her paws. It is very easy to use. At first I was skeptical but really needed something so I gave it a try. I didn't see an immediate improvement, but after several months I was convienced that it was the solution to curing the sores on her paws. I have continued to use it as prescribed every two weeks and she hasn't had anymore sores or itching paws. Thank you for something that really did work!

I started one of my 2 itchy toy dogs on Dermoscent (when a friend's very itchy Wire Fox Terrier completely stopped his chronic itching on it) and the other, simultaneously, on Apoquel. The Dermoscent has absolutely matched the Apoquel for stopping the previously very problematic itching. We're on our 3rd box (4 app. box) of Dermoscent, so she's been on it for a little over 3 months and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Since Apoquel is in short supply, if my Vet can't get more when we run out of our current supply, I will happily switch her over to Dermoscent and am guessing that she will continue to be itch free. All I can say is that it has worked spectacularly for my previously constantly scratching dog and it's a fraction of the cost of Apoquel, plus I have the satisfaction of knowing Dermoscent is all natural.

Wahnsinn! Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass die Empfehlung meiner Tierärztin so einen durchschlagenden Erfolg bringt. Zusammen (also in Kombination eines Derma-Öls als Futterbeigabe, gibt's bei Napfcheck) und der Kur mit dem Spot-On ein Fellergebis, von dem ich nur träumen konnte. Kein Haarverlzst, Haut und Fell sind seidig weich und keine Trockenheitsschuppen mehr. Weniger bis keine Hautirritationen. Tolles Medizinprodukt! Mein Frenchie ist fast 9 und hatte mit Exzemen und Irritationen sowie stumpfen Fell zu kämpfen. Jetzt sieht er wieder aus, wie in seinen besten Jahren! Teuer, aber sehr empfehlenswert.
