The Avery 5154s are probably the best name tags ever invented. Just buy them. I used them at my recent birthday party, pictured here. Why you should trust me: I've hosted hundreds of events with name tags. I've purchased dozens of different brands, types, and colors. I even wrote an entire chapter in a book (The 2-Hour Cocktail Party) about the best way to use and apply name tags at social events. The Avery 5154 are six to a page, which is great. It is an amateur move to get the single-sheet name tags: they create too much extra paper and garbage during your party or gathering. I love that these are compact. Now, I like bigger name tags, too, like the more 4:3 aspect ratio larger rectangles. My current favorite in that format that you can find here on Amazon are the Cualfec 210 pcs. But these Avery 5154s work well for both professional and personal settings, and the Cualfecs are a bit more casual vibe. In summary: these stick well, remove easily, have ample room for first names (ONLY first names! don't write full names- maybe last name initial, if you must). They're compact and easy to remove from the page. I write names with a thick black Sharpie market and have never had an issue with it bleeding through or smudging. Get these. And maybe throw a few sheets in your purse, backpack, or car. You never know when you might be at an event where the host forgot to use name tags. You'll save the day when you bring these out. GO NAME TAG TEAM!!

These are my favorite name tags for general use. They look really appealing despite their simplicity, and create a more inviting atmosphere at events and meetings, to help break the ice. They also stick really well to most fabrics, and can be removed without any issue. There's plenty of space to write names, whether you're writing just your first name nice and big for a less formal gathering, or your full name for a more professional setting. I've also put these through the printer before, and never had any issues. Up until this point, it sounds like I'm giving these a 5-star review, right? However, sometime in late 2013 to early 2014, they started to change the font of the "Hello my name is" text up top, and it doesn't look nearly as good as the original ITC Avant Garde Gothic Pro they used, as shown for the product image. If anyone at Avery is reading this - what happened? The old font is much better, and you should look into changing it back. EDIT (3/16/2018): Sometime this year, they changed the font back to the old one!

Great name tags, not a single one curled up or fell off. Plenty of room to write your name, yet it keeps a low profile due to its shape. Sticks really really well to your clothing. DO read the warning label not to stick these into certain fabrics. I put mine on a corduroy skirt, one of the materials it says not to use it on. It stick beautifully, but when i peeled it off, tiny chunks of the corduroy came off with it. It was my fault since the warning was provided in the package. The skirt is fine still. Since the name tag isn't huge, you can't see where i'd removed it unless you look very closely at the exact spot.

These names tags are THE name tags to beat. I have tried other name tags but there are always issues of them being not sticky enough, too sticky, not easy to print on, ink smearing, etc. Just stop wasting your money with the off brands and go with the ones that you know will always work. I highly recommend using these for all your events. These name tags will stay on for the entirety of your events and stick to pretty much every fabric type. It won’t peel off and get stuck to your hair. They are even durable enough that you can transfer them from a jacket to shirt if needed and they retain their stickiness. One down side is that they are not the cutest and the blue ones that I got, while standard, are a bit boring. I wish there were some more fun or elegant designs to choose from. Size wise, these fit perfectly with Avery templates and I had no issues printing them. Good value for the price ($5/100)

Using their website, I was able to add names and even designs to print on these. It didn't line up exactly right, but it was easy enough to work with. I feel like they could have been a little stickier, but it's better to have it be easy to peel off than have it stuck to your shirt.

Great for labeling. Perfect size for name tags. I like the blue and the look of these labels. Good value for the money. They didn’t fall off stuck on well.

I got these for a group meeting. Many attendees wore them on their clothing and they didn't leave behind a sticky residue. They also provided plenty of room for people's names. The leftovers make nice labels for all kinds of things. Multi-use. Nice!
