Fits like a glove. Very snug fit so the mount part doesn't move around or rattle. The holder part, once the screw is tightened stays out, too. Without the phone, as others have mentioned, the holder arms do rattle. But I always have my phone when I'm driving so it is never empty for me and is not an issue. Holds my Samsung S10 really snuggly even with a good size case on it. The arms have rubber so the phone stays out and doesn't shift around as you accelerate or turn. The position it holds the phone at on the dash is the perfect location for a phone, too. Within arm's reach and if I take a conference call, camera is at a good location, too. Overall, very happy with this phone holder. One note, though: if you use your CD player, this does block the CD slot and you will be annoyed. I don't use mine a lot so it's not a problem but I can see that getting annoying if you use yours a lot.

Made to fit in a specific location near the dashboard. It is close enough for me to easily reach it and I can easily attach a charging cord while driving.

Good idea but bad execution. Without the phone this mount rattles like crazy. If phone is mounted without the case it actually olds it pretty well but if you have an iPhone (mine is a regular 12) with a slim otter box case it is a struggle to get this mount to hold securely. I want to like this mount. The way it sits on the dash is nice except it blocks the door unlock button. Too bad...this is close to being a good mount but ultimately a failed execution.

It fits perfectly and snug on my 2018 320i Beemer’s console. It’s a great cell phone holder, rotates and adjusts easily, except when your cell phone has a rubber cover. The rubber cell cover makes it too snug in the holder and it’s tough to free it. I recommend to remove your cell phone carefully or it seems to snap it off easily. The material is plastic and seems very thin and brittle!

If there were 10 stars I would rate this product a perfect 10! I have a M3 Beemer and the location for a phone holder is tricky. This one, however nailed it! Great quality. I love the functionality of it. It holds my phone in perfectly. I no longer have to wrestle with looking down at my phone. Which no one ever should while driving. For the value it’s well worth it! It pops into place very easy to install. I tried it without sticking it to the screen area, but I would recommend using the sticky tabs provided to keep in place for a better fit.

Most of the reviews for phone holders for BMWs aren't the highest rated and non-Amazon options are ludicrously priced. I figured I would give this a try on my 2016 340i and it fit perfectly. No rattling, no phone movement, nothing. The only thing I want to call out here is your phone will be in front of the center vents. The air will still hit you and the passenger but it will also hit the phone. This is great in the summer when the phone gets hot but you'll want to close the vents in the winter if you live somewhere really cold. Also worth noting is your phone will be in front of the lock button, hazard button, and the vent air control slider aka the stratification wheel (not the digital one but the wheel). You can still reach them easily but your view will be obstructed. Not the end of the world.

As other reviews have noted: it's flimsy, and only operates in Portrait position. It's also more than a bit nervewracking installing (and removing) it, since it takes not insignificant force, always a peril for BMWs with old trim plastic. You CAN operate the heater/vent controls with it installed, but it's just not an elegant or sturdy solution. I ultimately went with the VANMASS 'true-military grade' (I'm sure it can survive nuclear war) mount, which managed to fit in my 2006 BMW 330i and is far sturdier--but uses a suction cup mount. Well--can't have everything with this aftermarket stuff.

If you want a cell phone adapter for a BMW, you need a product like this. It integrates perfectly with the vehicle interior! Now the problems with this product: 1. The ball that is held with the base using a tiny screw that gets loose day one. By using a strong glue for plastics was able to address this problem. 2. The frame is floating above the dashboard and since isn’t very sturdy the, cell phone vibrates when driving. By using a strip of foam padding adds structure and shock absorption. 3. The phone holder itself is substandard and only used it once. Replace it by a magsafe holder. So, the idea of integrating the base to the vehicle, brilliant. The execution not so much.
