Installed this rack on our 2022 Kia Sorento with OEM roof crossbars. I should also mention we have the moon roof option as well in case you're worried about that (just don't open the moon roof while this is installed). I had this thing assembled and installed on the roof in an hour. This rack feels solid and I liked how it prevents water from entering assembly points by providing rubber gaskets. Very well thought out. Listened to the other reviews and didn't tighten down the front wind guard too tight and I've had no issues with it cracking. The actual adapters that mount it to the crossbars are very nice. One reason I liked this over the others was the cheaper options on Amazon have those dinky U-bolt adapters which people seemed to have some issues with. These ones are essentially heavy duty clamp style ones that comes with the higher end cargo racks. They have a nice weight to them, plus nice padding. The bolts for the adapters do require the special Allen key that comes with this to tighten and loosen. I'm guessing this is to make it harder for someone to steal this off your roof, so make sure to keep that Allen key in your glove box! With any roof rack/cargo basket, there's wind noise. There's really no getting around this. You might be able to dampen it a little with a modified wind guard, but that's only going to do so much. It honestly just sounds like you have your fans on high when at 70+ mph and I got used to it pretty fast. With cargo bag on top, it had an effect on my mpg, but not as bad as I though (maybe a loss of 2-3 mpg). With rack empty, I don't see a drop. Aesthetically, this one looks awesome. Compared to the cheaper options which are just rectangular baskets, this looks wayyyy better. I saw a few while on the road and am glad I went with this one. The cheap ones look cheap. All in all, this is worth the extra $$ compared to cheaper options out there. From seeing the cheaper ones up close, compared to this one, there is 100% a difference in quality. I even saw some Thule's on the road and this looked similar. I think this might actually be larger too. On top of that, its $200-$300 cheaper then the Thules. 5/5. Pay the extra and get this one.

Very impressed with the quality of this and it looks great and aggressive. Nothing bad to say, no rust just awesome. Make sure you dont crank down the mount brackets to much. I didnt have a problem but understand what people talked about in other reviews.

I own a 2025 Mazda CX-90 and I ordered the larger of the two available sizes (L57.5 x W42 x H6) in November 2025. I was worried about how large it would look on the vehicle, but it turned out to be just the right size. The product came well packaged and the individual rack pieces were protected by thin pieces of foam so there were no scuff marks. I assembled the roof rack using the video innstructions that was posted on the product page because I did not realize until later that the step-by-step instructions were actually in the package that had the wind shield. The video may be dated because some of the parts did not match up to the ones that currently come with it. Despite not realizing where the instructions were, it did not cause any significant issues in the end result, but it did result in a delay in putting it together since I had to disassemble parts of the roof rack and put it back together again. I was able to assemble the entire roof rack on my own, but I did need assistance from another person to place it on top of the vehicle. I have OEM Mazda roof crossbars and it matched up well with the roof rack. However, because of the length of the screws, when you try to open the sunroof, it will make contact with them so I have not opened the sunroof since attaching the roof rack. I do not normally open the sunroof so it has not been an issue for me. The roof rack itself is very sturdy as well as the attachments that keep it attached to the crossbars. I have taken a couple of trips using it and it has held up well. It has plenty of space for several pieces of luggage for a family of 5. If you own a Mazda CX-90, a roof rack is necessary since there is not much storage room in the back if you have all the seats up. I noticed hearing wind noise at about 45 mph, and the noise was tolerable, but it increasingly gets worse as you go faster. I did not notice any significant drop in MPG. Unfortunately, after a month of having the roof rack the clasps that are used to attach the windshield to the roof rack broke off, presumably due to force caused by the high winds while driving at highway speeds. I did not request replacements since it would likely happen again. I am thinking about attaching a makeshift windshield since the wind noise is noticeable at about 30 mph and is significantly louder than without it. Also, at around the same time, the “X” pieces that attach to the sides of the roof rack flew off at some point. Despite this, I am still generally pleased with the roof rack itself. I have also received a lot of compliments about how it looks on my vehicle. I think it does make the vehicle look a little more rugged. Also, some other positives (though this can probably be said of all roof racks), it does make it easier to spot the vehicle in the parking lot when you forget where you parked. I have taken my vehicle through drive-through car washes with the roof rack on without any issues.

Great product that holds up in durability. We have taken several long trips including one to the coast and it has worked amazingly.

Product is a solid build with large tubing and clean welds. It was easy to assemble. Once mounted, it feels secure and sturdy. Pros: Gauge of tubing- thick and strong Easy to assemble Rugged, aesthetically appealing Quality hardware Versatile and simple tie-down points Cons: Mounts to cross bars more adaptable to square bars, mine are teardrop shaped- still works, just takes more time to balance mounting post screws Some wind shear noise from plexiglass-cover Crossbar mounts don’t allow my sunroof to use tip-up function (this may not apply to most) All hardware screws use an anti-theft Allen key, so don’t lose it!! Removal- would be tedious for storage periods. TBD Hardware screws weather and rust-proof? Mileage- with empty load, may trend down slightly. Be prepared to accept 2-4 mpg reduction (**UPDATE 10/2024- after 3 months of use, MPG reduction is 2.5 miles less w/ rack empty**) Pitting on some welds- may rust- I plan to fill with black silicone. Union of front frame to rear- middle of rack- Joint could retain water. I wrapped mine with a rubber seal. Your roof will never be as clean before the install. Washing is a bit tedious with rack in place. Overall This product appears to be built to last. Time will tell as to its ruggedness, holding power, and finish durability. It’s value seems optimal considering a quality build for less than $200.

It's very very rare these days that I'm introduced to a new company that completely blows my mind. Tyger has done just that. This is the first roof basket we have purchased... so we were flying a little blind while shopping. We opted for the Tyger because it just looked well-designed, was well-reviewed and the price was right for our use. First off... the shipping was surprisingly fast. Immediately I noticed the quality of the packaging. Upon unboxing I was struck by the build quality and the simplicity of assembly. The fit was outstanding, the parts well built. It came together so smoothly and felt rock-solid on assembly. The packaging was efficient with very little waste and relatively little plastic / foam. I just kept saying how awesome the product was.. how awesome the design work was... how user-friendly it was. And then some of the smaller details sealed it for me. Down to the security allen screws for the rail bar mounts... just awesome, thoughtful, utilitarian detail. It honestly made me want to know what else this company makes... hell, I'd even go work for this company. Their attention to detail is that good. I love it. And it looks killer.

Aesthetically, the rack looks really cool. It has a nice textured coating on it which will hopefully last. Since the basket angles inward at the top it is smaller than most. The inside width at the top is 30.5”. As recommended by other reviewers, I used silicone around the bolt holes and used blue loctite on the bolt threads. My only gripe is that the lower bracket that attaches to the roof rack hits my moon roof when I try to open it. I never open it, but it’s useless now. I like how the bolts that screw into the bracket are tamper free. Unfortunately, they only offer one proprietary hex key, so if you lose it good luck.

Fits my 2017 Ford Explorer well. Went together fairly smoothly. The quality seems good and I really like the look. Allowed me to mount lights to it no problem. Very happy!
