Who Was Walt Disney?

My daughter used this book for the biography she had to read in 2nd grade. It is a great book. There are pictures on most pages so it helps keep attention of young readers. It was easy to read and very informative. We've watched lots of Disney movies and visited Disney parks, so it felt relevant to her. And, gave her some good background information.

This book of Walt Disney is one of the best books ever! Even though I already have it, I gave it to my friend from my program.

My kids have a large collection of the series and this book was a nice addition to it! Easy to read great inspiring story. My sons 7 and 9 both enjoyed it!

I chose 5 stars because this book is so full of action and excitement. Walt Disney is such a great book.

My 9 year old son loved this book. This was one of three he read in the series. Walt Disney, Neil Armstrong and Albert Einstein. Each were great reads and he loved the information he got from the books. I enjoyed him reasing it out loud to me the second time he read it. My sons 4th grade class was assigned a biography book to read and report on. There was plenty of information as far as where they were born, how they accomplished what they each did and some sideline info on each of them that was interesting. However, the size of the words to a page and the difficulty would be more appropriate for 3rd grade not 4th.

We gave this book as a gift and it was a big hit! She said she lived the book! I think we will be buying more of these to give as gifts. We really like giving educational gifts and this was a big hit. It is an easy read and very informative. I would recommend this book. It is a great read for any age. I am going to check out other books from this author because I really thought it is very well written. This book had so many wonderful facts that our young I've wasn't aware if before she read the book. Now she can tell us all about Walt Disney. Maybe we should plan a trip to Disney World soon! I love Disney and these facts are true and a fun read. This book is a keeper. I think keeping this book in our home library is a must. I feel all of the kids will enjoy this one. Boys and girls a like will get so much out if this book. The kids all know a Disney movie so I am glad they got a chance to know the man who made the movies happen through this book. It is one that is hard to put down.

My son loves the biography books. They are very easy to read for young minds.

We really enjoy this series and we recently added this one to our collection. I really enjoy them and it's a nice way to introduce kids to history and written in easy to understand ways. Really suggest this series and we own several. Our kids started this series in elementary school. This one also goes into not giving up as it references struggling with the great depression.

Love these little books, easy reads for kids and full of lots of facts and knowledge ! My daughter (8) read this book herself in less than a few hours. She enjoyed it and learned lot !

A book which will inspire every child to dream and achieve Great things in Life. It will help them understand Life is about ups and down and one should not get discouraged but move on with renewed strength and confidence.
