Each edition contains the latest pedagogical research with detailed concepts, results and discussions based on the most prominent international experts in the field. The book is dense, but one doesn't have to deal with each point presented. I actually welcome being able to choose from the myriad of researched notions that are offered. After the readings, application activities in each chapter are featured, with a section called Teach and Reflect, which presents a concrete situation for teacher education candidates to use the concepts presented in the reading. Another section titled Case Studies involves more in depth realistic situations with questions that seek to propose thinking of a better scenario. The website is well designed and rich, and candidates love to use it for extra resources about knowledge that is essential for future teachers to learn to navigate.
