I noticed that this earpiece is the updated version, what makes this earpiece better compared to the black model that was released last year?

No charging port on the back of the battery, video is misleading and should be taken off the page! Below is my email to this seller on this issue: "Hello, I purchased the "Bluetooth Headset V5.0 Car Wireless Earphones with Mic Cell Phone Noise Cancelling UFO (Updated Version), ASIN-B0794SCYM8. I was expecting to receive the updated version with the charging port on the back of the battery as you show in the video (image attached). However I got the older version, TWICE! How can I get the newer version with the charging port on the back of the battery? You may also want to change the description on the Amazon page so people aren't mislead if the item you're selling can't be charged without separating the battery from the headset like both units that I received. Can i answer a call directly with this earpiece without having to handle my phone at all? For example if i have an incoming call while driving.

You have to press the call button on the headset. Sometimes it works, sometimes you have to press answer on your phone. It works fine at home, but when in the car it is 50/50 on call quality.

What is the range of the device from the phone?

It depends on phone 4.1 is always around 30 feet and newer models 5.1 Bluetooth are 100 feet
