Is the pacifier good for babies that breastfeed?

It looks like the pacifier given at the hospital but the nipple is a little bigger. So maybe not best for newborns, possibly wait until baby is 3-6 months. I have a friend who breastfeeds her 3 month old, she has the elephant and will never leave home without it!!!

how do you sanitize it? can the pacifier be detached for cleaning?

The pacifier doesn't detach. I just throw it in the washing machine. Then wash the pacifier with soap and water. Just let it air dry. I would really recommend this product! My baby loves it.

How can the pacifier be reattached when it falls off? I bought this 3 months ago, and today the pacifier & giraffe separated while my baby held it.

You see the hole/area the old pacifier was in and you can put a new pacifier you buy loosely in and sew it in. I just did this for my daughters favorite one.
