It is what it is and does what I wanted. It is the right size for a very small working space and exactly what I thought it would be. if you need one that is small and obtrusive and does exactly what you need to have done to hod additional thumb drives then this will not disappoint you, It does not charge since it is not powered and they do tell you that. So do not be disappointed that it is under powered and wil not charge. It is not made for that.

didn't realize it doesn't ship with a power cord. it even said it doesn't. still works fine without it.

I need to take it with me from time to time since I have both WFH and office time. It's very lightweight, so love this very much. For the usage, so far so good.

My new laptop only has 2 USB ports, and one is used for an optical mouse. This USB expander allows me to have up to four other USB devices connected at the same time. It also has a short input USB cord and plug attached, which means no external input cable required. A really useful accessory for only about $10.

The plug-in slots allow you to insert the thumb drives vertically. I prefer it compared to the one I have where the thumb drives are to be inserted on one side.

It’s small, lightweight and compatible with all my device. It still maintains the speed of my 3.1 port 👍🏾

Lo utilizo con una Mac Mini para conectar periféricos (teclado, impresora, memorias USB). Es lo que esperas, es plástico y no parece sumamente resistente, pero las conexiones son firmes y bien hechas. El cable es corto, pero no necesitas más. Tengo todos los puertos ocupados y ninguno ha tenido falla. No tengo queja alguna.

Ya tenía tiempo buscando un artículo de estos, y me convenció por el tamaño compacto y sutil que tiene, el cable no es muy largo, mide aprox. 20 cm tal vez menos así que si lo ocupas e un ordenador deberás tener en cuenta esto, en mi caso lo ocupo en una lap que está elevada, así que queda de pie, por ahora tengo conectado un teclado y un mouse, así que va bien por ahora, no es para cargar celulares ni tablets, sólo es para tener más puertos usb y 3.0, eso lo hace aún mejor

If you have a need just to connect a few more little devices to your computer then you have ports? This likely is your answer. While it is not powered, I've had no problems with Bluetooth transmitters, thumb drives and even an external DVD-ROM drive connected to it.

Lo compré para un monitor desktop y poder accesar los puertos usb sin tener que moverme a la carcasa que se encuentra más lejos. Tuve que comprar un extensor del cable para conectar el hub con la carcasa. Hasta ahora me ha funcionado bien. Solo lo he utilizado para las dos terminales de mi mouse y teclado inalámbricos pero baje esas condiciones ha funcionado sin ningún problema. En caso de que alguien tenga la necesidad de conectar y desconectar componentes a los puertos me preocupa la calidad de ellos dado que el uso repetido podría llevar a fallas. Sin embargo, no he tenido condiciones que en mi experiencia personal llevan a esto.
