Perfect for Scraping Paint Off My Windows - So Many Extra Blades Included
I painted my house last summer and even though I tried to be careful with the windows, I got paint on pretty much every single one. Spent weeks looking at these paint splatters on my windows before I finally decided to do something about it. I tried using a regular scraper from the hardware store but it was either too dull to actually remove the paint or too sharp and I was worried about scratching the glass. Found this 2-pack of razor blade scrapers and they've been exactly what I needed. They come with a ridiculous number of extra blades - like 80 total I think. I've been using these for months and haven't even made a dent in the blade supply. Probably have enough blades to last me years. I keep one scraper in my garage with all my other tools and the other one lives in my kitchen drawer. The kitchen one gets used mostly for scraping dried stuff off my glass stovetop, but I've also used it for getting stickers off windows and removing tape residue. Super versatile tool. The scrapers themselves feel really well made. They've got a solid plastic handle that's comfortable to grip and the blade holder is metal. The blades lock in securely and don't wobble around when you're using them. Changing blades is easy too - there's a little button you press and the old blade pops out, then you slide a new one in and it clicks into place. For the windows, these work perfectly. The razor blade is sharp enough to get under the edge of the paint and scrape it off cleanly without scratching the glass. I just hold the scraper at a slight angle and work in short strokes. The paint comes off in thin strips and the window underneath is totally undamaged. Took me probably 2 hours to do all my windows but they look perfect now. The retractable design is great for safety. When you're done using it, you just slide this little switch and the blade retracts back into the handle. Means you can toss it in a drawer or toolbox without worrying about cutting yourself or damaging other stuff. Way safer than just having an exposed razor blade sitting around. I've used these for all kinds of stuff beyond just the windows. Got some adhesive residue off my car window from an old parking pass, scraped dried caulk off my bathroom tiles during a remodel project, removed paint overspray from my garage floor. They're just really useful tools to have around. The grip on the handles has this textured rubber material that makes it easy to hold even if your hands are a little sweaty or if you're applying pressure. I was scraping some really stubborn dried paint off my patio door and needed to push pretty hard, but the handle stayed comfortable and didn't slip at all. Each scraper also has a little slot for storing extra blades in the handle, which is super convenient. Means I don't have to go digging through my toolbox every time I need to change a blade. I just pop the handle open and there are like 5 spare blades right there. The metal blades vs plastic blades is a big deal. The pack comes with both and I've tried them both. The metal blades are sharper and work better for tough jobs like dried paint. The plastic ones are good for more delicate surfaces where you don't want to risk scratching. Having both options is really smart. I lent one of my scrapers to my neighbor when he was removing old window tint from his car and he ended up buying his own set because he was so impressed. Said it made the job way easier than what he'd been trying before. The orange color makes them easy to spot in my toolbox or garage. I'm always losing tools because they're all black or gray and blend together, but these stand out. Small thing but it's actually pretty convenient when you're looking for them. The blade cartridge system means you're not touching the sharp edges when you're changing blades, which I appreciate. The old blade just drops out and you slide the new one in from the back. No risk of slicing your finger open like with some other razor blade tools I've used. I've also used these for scraping down my cooktop after I cook something messy. The glass-ceramic stovetop cleaner I have works okay but sometimes you need a scraper to get burnt-on food off. These razor scrapers make quick work of it and the blade is thin enough that it gets under the residue really well. For the price, getting 2 scrapers and 80 blades is an insane deal. I looked at other options and they were either more expensive for fewer blades, or they were cheaper but felt like cheap junk that would break after a few uses. These hit the sweet spot of good quality and good value. The blade storage container that comes with all the extras is nice too. It's a little plastic case that keeps all the blades organized and protected. I keep mine in my garage on a shelf with my other maintenance supplies. If you've got paint to scrape off glass, stickers to remove, stovetop to clean, or really any situation where you need a sharp scraping tool, these are fantastic. The 2-pack means you can keep one in different locations and the massive supply of blades means you'll pretty much never run out. Highly recommend.

Ergonomic handle, easy to change blades, work great
I like that you get 2 scrapers and so many blades you may never need a replacement again. I keep one scraper in the kitchen with a metal blade and use this mainly for cleaning the glass cooktop on my stove. It is easy to push open the blade and to change the blade just keep pushing and then you need to push the blade out to the side (I used a dinner knife so I didn't slip and accidentally cut myself). Then slip in a new one. I keep the other scraper in the bathroom with a plastic blade to use on the bottom edge of the glass shower door to help remove minerals from the well water. But if I ever need it for other duties I have plenty of extra blades to use. And I like that the scrapers are ergonomic so it is easily held in the hand and doesn't put stress on wrists when working. I believe this is a great value, especially if you can get it on a coupon, all the better.

Fairly decent, would buy again.
Used to be 5 stars since they works perfectly for the first task, yet, they started to be flimsy with use. Still, pretty good for the price. And if used to scrape algae of a fish tank the metal blades are single use since they rust almost instantly.

Comes with everything you need to scrape on glass or cardboard.
These came with so many extra plastic and metal blades. Works well on removing labels from different things or any gummy, sticky residue. Perfect for scraping or glass with the metal blades and the plastic has been great to take labels off boxes and products that are more delicate and could rip. Love that the blade is retractable. Also it’s very easy to switch out the blades. Just over extend and slide the blades out/in and you’re ready to go. These are super durable and I’ve been using these more than I thought I would. It came with storage for the blades as well.

I can't imagine living without these any longer
No, seriously. These have low key changed my life. First, quality of the blade holder. Pretty solid. Sometimes the pressure and angle I'm using them at unlocks the blade but the good news is all that really happens is it gets pushed back into the sleeve so it doesn't feel too unsafe when this happens. i LOVE that the housing is entirely plastic. I'm one of those people that sets something down to, "clean it in a little bit" and I've let a couple of the metal blade rust in the sleeve BUT since it's plastic I just wash it with some warm soap and water and swap out the blade. Works just fine again. Secondly, the quality of the blades. I can't say they're amazing quality but for the cost and the amount of blades you get I am more than pleased. The plastic ones obviously wear out quickly but are great for not hurting things that metal would be too harsh for. Stickers, countertops, even my cast iron stove grates. The metal ones changed my life for animal cage maintenance. We have a chinchilla cage with stainless steel pans and their urine can cake extremely badly on the bottom of the pans. With vinegar and the metal blades I was able to get those pans looking near brand new for the first time since we got them years ago and with MINIMAL effort. Yes, it still took some elbow grease but I've supplied plenty of that in the past and barely made a dent. Ergonomically, the shape can be kinda hard for small or achey hands, but they aren't too heavy to use past that. All in all, the most easy and comfortable to use? Maybe not, but for the cost absolutely worth it. I would happily buy these exact ones again if these wore out soon as I feel I have already gotten more than my money's worth out of it.

Not impressed
I should have known something was up. I ordered this and Amazon lost it so I had to reorder it. I think something was trying to warn me. When it finally did arrive and I opened the box only to find the blade system was made out of a very cheap ass plastic with no rigidity. The blades are so flimsy that I was afraid to try them for fear of them braking. The blade holder also would not stay locked in the user position. It kept slipping back into the handle. Save yourself some time and buy a different one.

Great and affordable!
I didn’t think I’d use the plastic scrapers, but they actually are pretty nice when you have something a bit more delicate. Great scraper overall. Nice and sturdy.
