Great Theater Taste!
Not a liquid but basically a paste. Melts easily when heated. Just like shortening but yellow in color. Best Popcorn Oil I've used!

Great option to use if you make popcorn at home
This coconut oil made our popcorn more fluffy and tasted so much better. The color didn’t really impart itself on the popcorn but the taste was great!

Does not leave after taste when eating.
This works just fine in my popcorn popper. I really like the coconut oil it does not leave a after taste when you eat the popcorn and the Beta Karateen gives the popcorn a gret patina. I Think its worth the price. I use clear coconot oil when I make kettle corn. has the same effect just no color.

Highly recommend
Makes the best theatre style popcorn ever! It’s so good. Just add a little popcorn salt. I use two tablespoons for 1/2 cup of popcorn.

Better tasting popcorn
Alton Brown’s favorite way to make popcorn is in a 24” diameter metal bowel on the stove covered with a sheet of aluminum foil with holes poked in it but the hard problem is how to shake it without burning your hands. I thought I already have several woks plus they have handles. I’ve used different oils but it never had the real movie theater popcorn taste until I used this flavored coconut oil. So now I use my wok for more than Asian food and with this oil can make movie theater tasting popcorn.

Wonderful natural color from beta carotene, does a fantastic job
I've used this oil to make the best popcorn ever. That is not just my opinion, it is the opinion of many children and adults who got to have some of the popcorn I made. I used Flavorcol for the salt and butter flavor, and the combination of the two, when used in proper quantities will produce the best popcorn ever. Here is how: I used Orville Redenbacher popcorn kernels that I bought locally, make sure it is fresh. Any popcorn kernels only have to be fresh to be good. I bought very expensive popcorn and it was no better, than what I already had. I used this stainless steel popcorn pot http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00608D66G/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_17 I put just enough oil into the pot to cover the bottom, so more, Next, add to the oil a sprinkle of a little less than 1 teaspoon of Flavorcol popcorn salt http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004W8LT10/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_18 Then add your popcorn kernels, but no more than what can cover the bottom of the pot, in one single layer. Put your pot on a medium heat, and leave it that way until it simmers, but as soon as one kernel pops, turn the heat up a little more. The popcorn popping will speed up, once it does, turn the handle on your pot clockwise slowly. Once the popping slows turn the heat off, and remove the pot from the stove. The reason for the lower heat at first is to turn the starchy popcorn center into a liquid. if the heat is applied to fast, the popcorn will not pop as big, and be of poor quality. That is because the moisture that causes the pop, will pop before the starch in the kernel liquefies sufficiently. Once you do this, you will decide if you have too much oil, or too much salt. The instructions I give here give me just the right amount of both. Since the bottle is so big, you might want to get your hands on a discarded Coffee Mate plastic bottle with a red pouring top. It makes a good storage bottle for the oil. You also may want to warm it before using it, it will be a solid when cooled, and hard to measure. You can warm it in the microwave, or keep it someplace that is warmer than the rest of the house. The guy who gave this product a low score because it did not have butter flavor was way off base. The butter flavor comes from the florvorcol. Any butter flavor that is oil based is gong to be very bad for you health.

Headline says it all, this oil, coupled with Flavacol and you will have that theatre popcorn at home. The color is bang on and the flavour is 100%.

Stellar product. I have to add a little butterscotch to add saltiness, but it really is good.

Just using 1 cup of standard popcorn kernels and 1/4 cup of this colored coconut oil in my 8 ounces popcorn machine. No need to add any other flavoring or salt, this coconut oil gives the perfect buttery taste customers enjoyed. Has a fantastic cinema like smell that spreads all around the shop while popping. Before I received it, I had try other "buttery" coconut oil and this one taste way better. Easier to clean from the machine popper as well.

I got it. It’s not as good as the Hutterite’s but good.

I bought this thing years ago and it's still sitting in my cupboard, slowly being used and hasn't gone moldy or anything. Great for popcorn.
