Good enough for the price but I’d recommend paying the extra and buying the other GVM light

Great lights BUT I gave up on trying to get it to sync through wifi. Total pain.

Excelentes paneles LED si estas empezando en el mundo audiovisual o fotografico, buena relacion en precio y calidad, si te interesa que tu trabajo se vea de mayor calidad, te conviene bastante este kit. Son faciles de montar, la app es bastante intuitiva y tienen buen rango de temperatura de luz.

A really nice and complete lighting setup. The leads are plenty long enough to not worry about needing batteries if you are using them indoors - the lead going from the light-unit to the 'transformer' block is, however, too short to avoid it hanging and not resting on the ground when the lights are set to more than chest level. I am primarily a still photographer so my only criticism of these may be misplaced - they are very, very bright. Even at the lowest setting of 10% power and shifted over to warm leds, using wide apertures can be a challenge - especially if you want enough control to make your background go black. This is a minor quibble or most, and I could understand a limitation within leds not allowing for less power than that because of their digital nature. The associated pic was done with an iphone as my first trial of these lights, but required a small aperture (large 'f' number).

I have purchased a few smaller lights to do some basic lighting for video on YouTube, for work, and family fun and decided to purchase this unit to up my game. Talk about an upgrade! The money I spent on this made my purchases of the smaller lights I had been using all look like toys! This thing puts out some serious light, and has mad my video look like I leveled up 5 notches. The brightness and warmth are adjustable on the back side, or a quick install of the GVM Easy app, following some decent provided instructions, and you can control it from your mobile device. This makes getting the lighting pretty easy in a light controlled room (like my basement lol) and you can keep track of your settings and get really great re-cuts of things you missed and they look like they were cut in a continuous stream which is where I was having issues in the past (smaller lights just can't be stabilized and re-set like you can with this baby) - my videos definitely look way more pro with this light. I wish I just would have bought this first (and I may get a second now). I didn't get a chance to use the battery (it takes 2 NP-750's - not included in the kit) but the provided cord and DC converter make for all day use anyway in my application. The connector make it easy to mount to a light stand and the barn doors and tilting are easy to move, but stay put easily. The bonus was it also comes with a nice carrying case that is semi-rigid and more than enough to protect the unit when I take it with me. Pro Tip: On Android when you pair to the wifi on the light, my phone would jump to a better wifi signal in the house, and the app wouldn't be connected to the light anymore. I later noticed when I paired to the device again, it had a pop-up that said "don't ask again" and let me stay connected to the (what my phone thinks is a poor network) wifi on the light, and it just works like a charm.

I bought these 2 months ago and they arrive in about a week from the other side of the world. they were well packaged and exactly as described. I bought them to light my studio and Workshop for Youtube video and live youtube. I have found them to be great for this and the built in diffuser eliminated the harsh shadows I had with my previous lights. I use them on stands in my workshop and have one mounted on a bracket in my studio. Color temperature range is excellent and the brightness ideal for my setup. Great quality build. I setup the WiFi app and am able to control the light brightness and color from in front of the lights looking at the camera to see the result. Ideal for a one man operation. Each light & stand comes with its own protective cloth bag. They all fit nicely into the provided carry case for easy transportation and storage. The Stands are nice and compact but this means they have a small footprint which makes them easier to knock over than ones with a wider base. you need to position the lights carefully so as not to make them unstable and a sandbag on the base will help with stability. This is the price of compactness and I don't have a problem with this. The power cord supplied was nice and long but not correct for this country. I knew this before I bought them and just picked up the ones I needed locally. The lights power packs are rated for 100v to 240v so will work internationally. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
