Seamless Sensitivity Socks for Sensory Issues - Made in USA

My 5 year old grandson has a morning meltdown because the sock seams annoy him. I had 2 pairs sent to my daughter and her word was "magical" !! No more morning tears. I have since ordered more. They are a little pricey for socks but worth it since they worked.

I bought these socks for my son who has some sensory processing issues. These socks are truly seamless and made from a great soft and stretchy material. They are hands down the most tolerable socks for him that we’ve found (although he still finds reasons to complain). One of the best features in my opinion is that the top of the socks don’t have the typical right elastic band that a lot of kids with sensory complain about, and the tow is seamless as I mentioned already. I actually turn these socks inside out because the top does have a tendency to curl down and if they’re inside out then they can’t roll down. I definitely recommend these. They are relatively expensive but sometimes around the holidays you can buy them on sale directly from Smart Knit at a decent discount.

By chance I discovered that my sensitive son was annoyed daily by his socks. He received a pair of toddler tube socks that fit perfectly, had no heel, had a rounded toe, did not bunch at the heel or toe, and did not move around inside his shoe. I had never realized all of this until he loved those socks so much. Unfortunately it turns out that it is very, very difficult to find that kind of tube socks online... but then I found these. They fit well and are comfortable in all the ways my son was looking for. The added bonus is that because they are tube socks they don’t get outgrown as quickly. I bought black, so they will not get grungy looking either. Yes, they are more expensive, but thus far I have not found anything like them. I think they will last a lot longer in my house given that my kid doesn’t feel the need to fling them off the moment he comes in the door. If you’ve got the kind of kid who hates tags and waistbands, the kid will probably love these too... just one more thing to help him or her feel comfortable inside their skin so they can go out and meet the day. And by the way, nobody gave me any free socks, I just love what they do for my son... and the time I no longer have to spend looking for them.

My little one has sensory issues, and socks are by far the biggest issue, making for extremely stressful mornings. Over the past three years, I've tried every single "seamless", "smooth-seam", "comfort-seam" socks out there – most of which she wouldn't even wear inside out. I knew about SmartKnitKIDS, but it went against my belief (not to mention my budget! ) to spend $10 on a pair of socks. Retrospectively, I agree that it would have been cheaper to start with them rather than trying everything else to no avail... As some have mentioned, they're not perfect: - They make feet sweat (and smell, depending on shoes) - They still have a seam (although barely perceptible to people who don't have sensory issues) - They don't wash very well and the outside tends to "pill" and gets rough (so make sure to always wash them on the same side) - They're not very long lasting (you'll get a few months out of them) - Design is inconsistent across sizes/colors (some colors/sizes have "cuffs" with seams and look like they're made of a different material) But they're still the best (only?) socks out there for kids with sensory issues. The no-heel, "tube" format makes them great for any foot size. My 4 year old wears shoe size 11. The Large socks reach up about 5 inches (without pulling). In conclusion: If you have a child with serious sensory issues, don't hesitate. Those are the best socks you'll find. But be prepared to spend money on them, not keep them for long, be careful how you wash them, and return some of the ones you'll receive because they're an older model (different material, different design). I ordered the one pair after reading the reviews just to make sure and good thing I did because one they’re extremely small. My daughter’s foot is already on the small size and I still ordered a large for her which is what their size chart recommends yet the sock is the size of maybe a 24m. They fit my daughter like the no show socks when I ordered her the knee length ones. They also do not stay in place and do have a pretty noticeable seem and bump which was what we didn’t want. They seem really thin and don’t look like they will hold up after a couple of uses. My daughters won’t wear them anyways due to the protruding seam next to her pinky toe. For the price I would think you would get a much better quality product. The Jeffreys brand is much better quality and pricing. They’re actually as close to “seamless” that I’ve found. Every parent that has kids with Autism and SPD know the daily struggle and never ending battle, so do not get your hopes up and definitely do not waste your money if you’re looking for actual seamless socks.

We could not find socks that were comfortable for my (5th grade/11 y.o.) daughter, even ones that were marketed as "comfort toe." (Yeah right, NOT comfortable toe!) These are great! Absolutely no seams, just a seamless tube. You get a bigger size if you want it to come higher up your leg, a smaller size if you want a lower look. She wanted a "crew" style, and the size we got was just right. The beauty of the design (besides the ACTUAL comfort toe!) means that as she grows these will still fit and she can wear them for years, they'll just eventually become "ankle" style and we'll just get her some bigger ones (assuming she still wants "crew" style). They're a bit pricey for what we would usually pay for socks, so we just started with 3 pair and wash the ones she wore that day in the sink that night when she takes them off (if we're not doing a load of laundry), and that gets us through the school week. Will definitely order more for next school year! So glad I found these!!

I ordered the socks for my granddaughter. She can't stand to feel the seam of regular socks on her toes. To the point where she turns them inside out and folds the ends of the seam up on top of her feet. She also pulls the firmed heel up over the top of her shoe so that it's just sitting there, in the back, for all to see. It was a daily battle, with whining/crying on her part and pleading on mine. With these socks, she can wear them correctly and not have to worry about seams or formed heels. Not only did these socks help me with this battle, they won the war for us! Thank-you!

My son has asd and seams on socks are a big issue for us. This sock is no seam at all. Feels nice. He has popped a hole a few times with his toes so the quality is not 100% perfect but it has cut down on a little of the stress in the mornings on getting dressed. I wish the price was a little lower because I needed to buy a bunch for him. I will tell you that I had no issues with fit on the black ones. The blue ones I purchased the same size, didn’t fit at all. Not sure what the difference was but definitely wasn’t happy about it not fitting. We do like the black ones and I am grateful there is even an option for kids with sensory.

My son has sensory issues and has always found normal socks problematic. He can get very frustrated and angry trying to find socks that are comfortable for him each morning. We've had a few morning meltdowns over socks and we've had to throw many pairs of perfectly good socks away because they are uncomfortable for him and he simply can't wear them. I've been searching on-line and in the shops to find suitable socks for him and I came across these Seamless Sensitivity Socks and bought some. They are a big hit and are perfect for him. No more morning sock disasters. I find them quite expensive for a pair of socks for a child, but other than that fabulous and would highly recommend them.
