Brisa White Retractable Screen Door 80" Single

I ordered this for my front door. It fit well and went in nicely but you need two people or it could take longer. It rolls in and out easily. I keep it closed and my door open a lot. Have not had any issues with insects. The screen seems sturdy.

Installation was a breeze, although I recommend having a second person help out to make it even easier. The instructions were clear, and we had it up and ready in no time!The quality is excellent—materials feel sturdy and durable, so I'm confident it will last a long time. The screen glides smoothly, and I love how it disappears when not in use.One thing to be mindful of is that the screen isn't fastened at the bottom, so it's important to be cautious if you have pets or kids. They might accidentally run into it since there's nothing securing it at floor level.Overall, it's a great addition to our home, offering convenience and keeping bugs out while looking sleek and modern. Highly recommend it!

I like the finished product however the description says with basic DIY skills it will take 30 minutes. I've been doing advanced construction projects all my long life and it took me over an hour. The descriptions in the directions are not very clear or helpful. It basically came down to trying to put together a complicated metal puzzle until everything finally fit. Some pieces that are supposed to simply slide and snap together actually need a little encouragement with a gentle hammer once you figure out exactly how they're supposed to go together.It does however do what it says it does in terms of functionality although it is a little bit difficult to close and takes a little wiggling to get it to move correctly along the track.

Be sure to put the sill extenders and sill in before you put the bottom track in.

I love screen doors but my current home is just not compatible with normal ones (long story)I saw a pamphlet for this in a store and thought it could be the answer, but waited a long time due to mixed reviews I was seeing.I wish I hadn’t waited!It’s easy to install - took me about 30 minutes. It works as well as any other sliding door.There were two install videos on YouTube I found really helpful.Even though I was able to do it myself, it would definitely be better to do it with two people, if only to hold it in place when attaching itThe one downside is that it goes right up against my doorbell, so sometimes when I close it, it rings the doorbell. ….but it also hides the doorbell from solicitors so it evens out I guess haha.

I bought two of these. One for our garage entry and the other for our side house access. Both are covered from the elements and are not exposed to rain. My side door screen is doing ok. My garage door one that is used less frequently has failed. The spring inside has lost tension. Larson sent a replacement spring but when I attempted to re assemble the screen door I simply cannot get things to fit back together. The sharp edges keep tearing the big section of screen and the small plastic pieces are becoming loose and not clasping together anymore. I’ve spent 5 hours trying to get this to work again but it’s just not working. As an owner of two of these I hoped Larson would understand that I did my best and either send me a new door or offer me a discount, but they said they would not. It’s frustrating because the two that I bought were purchased at the same exact time, and one completely failed. This to me seems like a faulty unit that should be replaced. But instead they send me a spring and tell me that’s the best they can do. I really enjoyed the screen door and it’s almost summer so the bugs are out, and we cannot use our home gym in the garage any longer due to no screen door. Very disappointed… I wish they would just send me a new door so I can enjoy my garage this summer!

This retractable screen door impressed our contractor when he installed it. The ease of installation and the overall quality for the price were very satisfactory. Once deployed, the only negative is the level of transparency to the screen. Such is a win and you need to be mindful you don't walk into it. One of our dogs ran into it headlong thinking the door was open. This caused the screen to loosen at the bottom. I was able to tuck it back into the frame. This was entirely on us and not a manufacturing issue. No screen will withstand such. Be aware the frame within which the screen retracts, will encompass the entire door and make the doorway narrower. Not an issue for us. We also avoid stepping on the screen frame when going in/out. Again, an easy adjustment. We tried the magnet type of screen previously. It didn't work well at all in our windy location. Our contractor liked this product so much he stated he planned to get some for his own home and would recommend to other customers.

This retractable screen is really a great value for someone who isn't afraid to "do it yourself" sometimes. It's an easy assembly (for the most part) and, I had it completely installed less than 2 hours after it arrived here at the house.It's well made. In fact, it's better made than I expected it would be - and with higher quality materials. Beyond that, the screen itself slides perfectly through the glides when they're installed properly. The instructions are less than ideal, but, once you figure out what is "front" and what is "back", you'll be all set.I honestly couldn't be happier with this purchase. It looks awesome on my home and it assembled exactly as expected. Thank you for a great screen!!
