This was purchased as a direct replacement for a Panasonic Video Camcorder, and it works perfectly. As a matter of fact the cord is more durable than the original and is also longer, which is a plus in our situation.

Does work well with Panasonic cameras

I'm used to power adapters for my cameras having longer cords and in two parts; one to plug into the outlet and adapter, and the other to give the setup some length of cord to work with. With this one, the brick just plugs into the wall, and the cord length is minimal. I was in a hurry and didn't really look at what I was purchasing; however, it does work as intended.

It was exactly what we needed. Plugged it in, camcorder turned on and we were able to record our youth sporting event.
