Boeshield T-9 Waterproof Lubricant

Works great!

I started using Boeshield on a saltwater sailboat over 20 years ago and saw how well it protected. I now use it on my vehicles and at home. Tried Fluid-Film but it never dries. T9 drys to a non sticky waxy coating that protects iron or aluminum. I have my ever had T9 fail where it was liberally and properly applied.

My ac company recommended to ward off rust in south Florida. I live within 300 yards of the Atlantic Ocean and salt is everywhere. My air handler is in attic and the drip pan rusts. After replacement of a 14 yr old CAC , they liberally sprayed on the air handler and outside compressor. I will be buying more! Can’t control all rust but this problem can be useful. Small spray bottle for the money on Amazon. Maybe find at a hardware store..?

This seems to work well for my applications, but imagine my surprise when I saw the size of that $18 can. I can’t seem to find the 12 oz can unless I specifically say 12 oz t-9. Then the $19 12 oz can pops right up. Huh.

Good size and easy to use. Made even the stickiest drawer slide smooth on my tool chest.

use this to protect bare metal. I also use this on my woodworking tools to protect them.

T-9 is expensive, but I use it to keep the column and chuck of my drill press lubricated. It prevents rust when used every so often and dries to a thin waxy coating. I prefer the very subtle odor as compared to lubricants like WD-40. I recently sanded the surface rust off of a bunch of old metal tools and parts and then gave them a good soaking in T9 after washing them with soap and water (and drying). Once the T9 dried, which can take hours to days depending on whether you wipe them down, the tools and parts looked as good as new. The 4 oz bottle doesn’t last long so I will be getting the larger size next time, but either way, I love it!

Best and cleanest bike chain lube I have used. I have been riding year 'round and through messy winters for years. This does not attract dirt like an oil does. The spray can and the 4-oz. bottle both have their pros and cons. On a chain the spray does work but there is over-spray you have to control with a rag, involving wasted product. With the bottle, the dropper cap is downright miserly, delivering literally a drop at a time. I used a push pin to slightly enlarge the bottle opening. So with the chain newly coated, I might ride the bike then wipe of the excess the next day. This leaves behind the most dirt-repellent coating of any lube I know so far. Before installing a new gear cluster I used the spray on it then let it dry a long time, leaving a non- dirt- attracting lubricated surface. Granted, exposed drive chains on bikes are an imperfect system, and nothing short of a sealed enclosure can prevent the attack of salt, winter mess and rain on bike parts. Add to that my imperfect maintenance and this turns out to be the best solution so far.

Amazing product and incredibly easy to use. All of my hand tools and even some parts of my power tools now get a coating of this is they are every going to be used outside. Goodbye rusty tools

Does the job well from letting any water or debris onto where you spray.
