Blast Those Pesky Bugs Away - The BUG-A-SALT 3.0 is the Real Deal!
Howdy, folks! Mike P. here, and I gotta tell ya, I've found myself a game-changer when it comes to battling those annoying critters that invade my home. The BUG-A-SALT 3.0 is hands down the coolest, most satisfying way to rid your space of those pesky bugs. It's like having a mini, non-lethal shotgun designed solely for eradicating these buzzing nuisances! First things first, let's talk about the design. The yellow color of this bad boy not only adds a touch of flair to my bug-killing arsenal, but it also makes it easy to spot, so I can grab it in a flash when a winged intruder enters the scene. The overall construction is solid, with a comfortable grip that allows for steady aim and precise shots. The pump-action mechanism is smooth as butter, making it effortless to load up on salt ammo and get ready for a showdown. Now, onto the performance. Holy moly, does this thing deliver! With the BUG-A-SALT 3.0 in hand, I feel like a true bug-hunting cowboy. The range is impressive, reaching up to three feet, giving me a safe distance to take aim and obliterate those buzzing devils. And let me tell you, the satisfaction of a well-aimed shot connecting with a flying bug is unparalleled. It's like scoring a touchdown, only with salt instead of a pigskin! The accuracy of this bug-slaying weapon is spot on. I can now take down those tiny targets with precision, all thanks to the improved sights on the 3.0 model. Whether it's those pesky fruit flies or those creepy crawlers that scurry across the kitchen floor, the BUG-A-SALT 3.0 ensures they meet their salty demise. What's even better is the easy clean-up. Gone are the days of smacking bugs with a shoe and leaving a nasty mess behind. The salt pellets disintegrate upon contact, leaving nothing but a tiny, harmless residue. Plus, it's a whole lot more hygienic than squashing those critters, especially when they decide to invade your dinner table. Now, let's address the only drawback I've found. You see, when I first got my hands on the BUG-A-SALT 3.0, I may have gone a bit trigger-happy, and my salt stash started depleting faster than I expected. So, my advice would be to stock up on salt rounds, my friends. You'll be surprised at how addictive the bug-blasting experience can be! All in all, the BUG-A-SALT 3.0 is a fantastic investment for anyone who wants to keep their home bug-free while having a blast doing it. This bug-zapping shotgun is reliable, accurate, and a ton of fun to use. I highly recommend it to all my fellow bug-haters out there. So grab yourself a BUG-A-SALT 3.0 and prepare to defend your territory in style. Happy hunting, folks!

Effective and suprisingly fun way to deal with flies
This thing is honestly so much fun. We originally bought one to deal with the constant flies in our house, and it ended up being both effective and entertaining. The first one we received jammed and stopped working after about two weeks, but it was replaced right away. We’ve now had the replacement for about nine months with no issues at all. For some reason our neighborhood seems to be full of flies, and from around March through October we end up with at least a couple getting into the house almost every day. This has been a great solution. It works well, and somehow it turns getting rid of flies into something that’s actually kind of fun instead of an annoying chore with a fly swatter. **Things to know:** * The salt refills can feel a little pricey, but they last quite a long time. * It works best when you’re within a reasonable distance of the fly. **What we like:** * Very effective for flies indoors * Easy to use * Surprisingly fun to use instead of a fly swatter * Durable (the replacement has worked great for months) **Overall:** If you deal with flies getting into the house, this is a fun and effective way to handle them. It definitely made our fly problem much less frustrating.

The Best Bug Killer
I've been eyeing the Bug-A-Salt for awhile now but it was hard to justify the $40 price tag. After a fly got into our house and caused a war between my husband and I, I realized that I couldn't complain about his bug eradication techniques if I wasn't willing to fulfill my duty of participating so I went and bought the Bug-A Salt gun. Of course the first week after I got it, it rained nonstop giving us a temporary reprieve of the invasion of insects, but not allowing me to test the Bug-A Salt. Unfortunately, during that time I had to deal with the mocking of my purchase when a "fly swatter or shoe could do the same thing" from my family. But as soon as the sun started shining and those buggers came out from their hidey holes I was ready for them! I have spent the last 2 days decimating the juvenile spotted lantern fly population around our home and it is the most satisfying thing in the world. Shoes and fly swatters wouldn't have had nearly the same effect as the Bug-A-Salt. The bodies are piling up on the patio just waiting to be swept away. My husband and son have even gotten in on the fun of it and now begrudgingly admit it is worth the price. We are using table salt and it works great on the smaller insects. I have only come across 1 fly so far and it took 3 shots- 1 to stun it, 1 to kill it and 1 to send a message to the others that we were not messing around! We have already refilled it 3 times due to the amount of bugs that are invading. I may go ahead in the future and order the Bug-A-Salt salt that is a larger grain but for now table salt is doing the job. We have declared war on the insect world and are kicking their buggy butts. Not only that but Bug-A-Salt gun has given me a power I never had as I no longer cower in fear of the bugs waiting for my husband to save the day. I am now the warrior of the home and run head first into the battle with my war cry! The Bug-A-Salt gun has given me the courage to take control of my home in a way I never thought I could do. Pro's- - Absolutely addicting - Good accuracy from a distant - Uses table salt Con's- - Price - It is hard to cock the gun Final note- If you are afraid of bugs, or think getting bug guts on the bottom or shoes or dealing with a nasty fly swatter with the remnants of bugs past is just gross then this is really for you. It is similar to a nerf gun but serves a purpose and does it well. This gun will have you out hunting the bugs before they come to you. I've always said one big reason to keep a man around is for killing bugs but this gun just proves we don't need them for that anymore!

Fun and Surprisingly Effective!
I’ve purchased this BugASalt gun at least six times now because it makes such a great gift. Everyone I’ve given one to absolutely loves it! We live on a farm, so flies occasionally find their way inside, and this is a quick and easy way to deal with them. It’s effective, easy to use, and honestly makes pest control a lot more fun. There’s something satisfying about improving your aim while taking care of annoying flies around the house. It’s always a conversation starter when guests see it, and it’s one of those gifts people actually use. Highly recommend!

Effective, Fun, and Surprisingly Precise Bug Control
The BUG-A-SALT Yellow 3.0 is a surprisingly fun and effective way to deal with annoying insects. It’s accurate within a couple of feet, and the raised barrel with the added sight really does make a difference when lining up a shot. The improved salt hopper and rapid-fire cross bolt safety are nice upgrades, making reloads quick and easy during use. I also appreciate that it’s non-toxic and doesn’t require batteries. That said, it does have a short effective range, so you need to get fairly close, and it’s definitely not suitable for all insects or situations. As long as it’s used responsibly and safely, it turns a normally frustrating task into something oddly entertaining.

Sturdy, fun, and effective
My wife got me the Bug-a-Salt 3.0 for Christmas. I was expecting a silly little gimmick of a toy. No, this is actually pretty legit. The plastic is thick and sturdy. The design is ergonomic and is comfortable to hold and use. The sights DO actually work. I highly recommend using the sights because we were missing a lot of shots by just eyeballing it. Using the sights will land the salt cloud right on the bug. This is a very short range weapon. The claim is 2 to 3 feet. I’ve found it depends on the size of the bug and the thickness of their exoskeleton. Small, light bugs like mosquitoes can be taken at 3 feet; however, I found large and thick bugs like Palmetto Bugs (tree roaches) can take up to 6 shots at point blank range. At that point, you’re better off using a fly swatter, stick, or your shoe. We’ve had an outbreak of milkweed assassin bugs around here. We find them in the house. Their bite is painful. My daughter is afraid of bugs so she’s hesitant to kill them up close with a tissue. This shotgun comes in very handy. On those bugs, one shot under 2 feet will mortally wound it. 2 shots at that distance will instantly put it down. So performance varies with distance and the physical attributes of the insect. Spiders are rather fragile, but I haven’t tried to kill any of those so I’m not sure about performance with those. Uses normal table salt. Don’t let the kids shoot the pets or each other with it. The salt granules shoot out at high pressure and can certainly cause eye damage or blindness, “You’ll shoot your eye out, kid!” I’m super happy with it. I was expecting a toy. It’s a legit pest control weapon.

Everyone needs one of these.
This thing is SO much fun. I honestly don’t even stress when flies get inside the house anymore because everyone gets excited to grab the BUG-A-SALT. 😂 I love that it only uses regular table salt, and it’s surprisingly effective. The blast spreads out just enough that it’s actually pretty hard to miss a fly. Best of all, I no longer have to worry about gross, unsanitary fly swatters or accidentally squishing flies all over my countertops. We’ve had a blast with it, and everyone in the family fights over who gets to use it. I will be honest, my first one stopped pumping after about a week. I reordered another one, though, because we loved it that much. So far the replacement has been working perfectly, and I’m hoping the first one was just a rare defective unit. Even with that hiccup, I’d absolutely buy it again. It’s one of those things that’s actually as fun as it looks.

Effective and good range
This gun is amazing. I’ve been having a pantry moth infestation. This thing allows me to shoot bugs on the ceiling I couldn’t reach. Just one shot and dead. I used kosher salt. I also have an electric fly swatter but I wish I bought one of these first for the cost. No batteries just straight air pressure and salt.
