Easy install
Great product and easy to install. Hasnโt moved since I put it in and works great for the holster I added.

Sturdy rig, no drilling required.
The Gum Creek holster allowed me to drive long distances getting my 1911 out of my side. My side rig did not dig while driving, but pulling it out if needed would not be easy with seat belts and clothing material in the way. This solution fit perfectly on my GMC Seirra. It was tricky getting the webbing tight to reduce sagging. My holster (does not come with product) has a spare mag pouch and this rig holds everything securely. Now, depending on your clearance between your knee and dash will determine if knee will be hit occasionally when transitioning between gas and brake (and vice versa). It is close to hitting my knees (I'm 5'8"), but doesn't unless I do something abnormal (like jump off seat when a wasp lands in my lap... Knee knock was well worth it!). I really like the fact that I didn't have to drill any holes and I can move to another vehicle if needed.

A must for concealed carry in your car!
I love this! I have it in a 2013 Kia Optima SXL. I have it as small as the strap could go. It could be a little more secure because it can slide if I push it. Maybe I will have to mess with it more. Several people that have seen it in my car want to get one to. I really recommend this!...And no, this is just the strap. Holster must be purchased separate.

Very good design, high quality, just needs one minor modification.
I had looked at this for a while for my Glock 19 and 36 but waited. My wife and mother were looking for something small for me for Christmas and they both got me one for both vehicles I drive. They're very expertly made, and of high quality materials. At first glance in unboxing, it could be overwhelming to the average joe with all the straps but it has very easy to follow detailed instructions. I would rate it 5 stars but my only issue was the hooks that latch on. For my 1997 Silverado it would install but the angle of the hooks caused it to pop off. Simple fix, I just put the hook end in a bench vise and slowly tightened it to give it a sharper curve. It worked great and will not come off without completely loosening the strap. The other problem with the hooks is they can slide on the knee bolster trim they hook to. They're covered with a plastic material, but it should've been a thicker, yet softer, rubber. It will slide on the hard plastic no matter how tight you're able to get it. I'm not comfortable with this, if I have to snatch the pistol it may push it away and make it harder to get to in a bad situation. My remedy for this will be a small piece of bicycle inner tube tire cut to put between the hooks, and knee bolster. Overall, it's a very intuitive design and made very well. I'm not necessarily complaining about the hook design, as they have to make it universal to be a good seller, but I am simply stating don't get it and think it's defective and return it when a simple modification is all that's needed to make it perfect.

Good Idea but I had a few problems
Great concept and it did work really well with the exception of two things... the lower hook had the wrong kind of angle to fit over the lower edge of the steering column shroud and while I was struggling with it (and bear in mind that I wasn't really trying to force it because I didn't want to damage the steering column shroud) the sewing that was holding the lower hook in place just gave way. I gathered up the parts (loose hook, rest of harness, etc...) and set them aside. I'll eventually get around to redoing the stitching but for now I've pretty much looked for other solutions. The angle of the hook was PROBLEMATIC but not a problem in the design. The reason it wasn't working for ME was because of the heavier steering column of my truck not because of any deficiencies the design of the hook itself. The stitching, on the other hand, surprised me. On one end of the harness it was very well done and very sturdy and reinforced in a "square" filled with a "X" pattern of stitching. On the end that gave way it looks like only one side of the "square" was stitched and nothing of the reinforcing "X" stitching. The only thing that I can think of is that for some reason the stitching on that end was interrupted somehow and just got passed on without it being completed. It happens. So, I'll fix it and use it in my car which doesn't have as thick a steering column shroud as my truck does.

Works very well
I use this with a UTG Deluxe Ambidextrous Belt Holster mounted in a 2007 FJ Cruiser. It works very well and I did not have to order the extension or adapter kit. The adjusting strap is a bit stiff at first, and you may have to fight it a bit when you first install. The Velcro on the mount worked perfectly with the Velcro on the holster, so installation was a breeze once I decided how I wanted it mounted. This keeps the gun well out of the way of my legs, but within easy reach. On the FJ, the gun is out of the sight-line of a casual observer, but not completely concealed. With the door closed and window up, it is hard to see from the drivers side, but it is visible from the passenger side. This system fit my requirements of being easy to access but not needing any mounting holes drilled.

Not a good option!
First blush this is worthless and getting returned. It fits with the adapter strap. The problem is....which is critical....the nylon strap does not stay tight!!! Working the weapon in and out of the holster only three times loosened the main straps. I get in and out of my vehicle a lot more than three times a day...if there's a way to keep the straps taunt with out modifying the straps then let me know please. Short if that this is not a usable option. 2012 GMC 2500 Sierra and a 2012 Chevy Silverado....yes I bought two
