This product is so well designed and executed. It has everything you need except the hot water. The cover part combined with the lid provides pretty much exactly 250mL of water, and the grinder has a line that basically is just enough space for about 15g-20g of coffee (Depending on your bean size). The whole system is basically all you need as a road warrior who needs their coffee while living out of your suitcase. I love this so much I've bought it as gifts for two of my friends even. And I sincerely recommend this to anyone who loves coffee and has to go on the road. Just bring your favorite coffee beans (whole) or buy some freshly roasted stuff wherever you end up.

I travel for work and despise the hotel coffees (I roast my own beans). I was using an AeroPress and a hand grinder, but was looking to save space, and to be honest, didn't enjoy having to do an early morning workout to grind the beans. This solves the problem. Grinder is quieter than expected and takes almost the same amount of time as hand cranking, but I can be doing other times during that time. Auto shut off feature works as expected. Able to adjust grind size as needed. USB charging means I don't need to carry additional charging equipment in case I will be gone more than a week, or want to enjoy a 2nd cup some days. USB cable is included (nice touch). Filter legs has a step that rests just inside the cup so the filter won't shift during pour. Semi-rigid carrying case offers a reasonable amount of shock protection. Ideas for improvements: Some kind of spout on the drip kettle, like on the hand crank model. The kettle included is difficult to precisely pour into the small filter. I may form one with a hot piece of steel rod, since it does takes several pours to fill a cup. Been using a hotel paper cup that I can squeeze to make a spout. A cover for the filter. The carrying case is nice, but the metal filter is still exposed while the travel cup is in use. Depending on traffic, I am concerned the unprotected filter will take too much abuse leading to premature failure.

I bought this to make decent coffee while traveling for work, and eventually to take camping. Obviously you sacrifice a bit by having such a narrow brew basket, but it is worth it for the compactness of the overall system. The cup is well insulated and creates a good seal when the lid is on, although I didn't test it for leakage very extensively. I wasn't fully happy with the grinder. The burrs are attached to each other with one screw that you adjust to change the grind, and only one burr is attached to the grinder housing, so the burrs can become misaligned by "boulders" in the grounds, causing problems with grind consistency and potentially damaging the burrs if they rub against eachother on the opposite side. It's definitely a design flaw, but trouble can be avoided by being aware and keeping an eye out for it. The set also doesn't come with a wall adapter for the charging cable.

I ordered this for a recent trip I was taking and was worried because of their competitors being double the price and the lack of reviews. This product is actually 10 times better than I expected. The case is extremely nice. The burr grinder works really well, doesn't get hot, and charges quickly. The build quality of the item itself is extremely sturdy. It's just all-around a great product for 40 dollars. I've recommended to all of my traveling friends!

The carrier is awsome cup looks good. Dont try to grinde whole beams in this product it cant do it. It binds up eveytime you hit the button.

I got this because I roast my coffee beans at home, and wanted to enjoy it when I'm on the road. I've made several cups in this now and it works great. Nothing like having coffee My Way. Beats the heck out of that cheap hotel pods.

I love the concept of this thing and was really looking forward to using it as a part of my mobile lifestyle. Alas, as another reviewer pointed out, the filter is garbage. I first used it with no paper filter and a fine grind--it took FOREVER for the water to filter though. The second time, I attempted it with a more course grind--same results. The third time I tried a paper filter with a medium grind and the water just ran straight though and created the weakest coffee water. I am dying to find a way to modify the filter because again, I think this concept is killer and I LOVE the cup and the grinder--both work great. Just need to find a work-around for the filter itself.

This little guy is perfect for the coffee lover on the road. I bought it because I was craving good coffee while deployed and had beans, but no grinder. It gave me everything but the hot water all in something the size of a travel mug. No reason to let being away from civilization stop me from having a good cup of coffee now.

I loved it while working. Lasted 3 good months then failed to hold charge. I had to charge it every time before using it. I replaced the exact battery but now it only works for less than a second. Maybe it wasn't a good quality battery. I've being browsing the seller's site for the right part but found none. It's been very frustrating. I love the concept but support could be improved. I'll try a manual grinder next time. I'm going to Spain and can't my use my electric grinder there because of the voltage difference. I wish this grinder was the solution but I tried everything to make work. Very frustrating

Grinding not good it grind two time and the battery is dead
