Add function and beauty to your outdoor space
These low voltage lights are perfect to add unobtrusive light on the deck handrail. Just enough light to illuminate the walking surface. The hooded top with downward facing light keeps it from blinding or being uncomfortable on the eyes. Second time I've used these and am very pleased. Great value. Unaffected by rain. The first install is now 3 years old, so they seem durable.

Really lit up my stairs
These worked really well. I just finished installing 4 of the 6 lights on my dark stairs. I had no issues with the wiring or the screws or fitting the covers on. It all went together really well. The lights cast a nice warm light that complemented the rest of the lighting. As you can see in the pictures, the stairs are now well lit. Wiring everything up was the tricky part but that has nothing to do with the quality of these lights and fixtures. I had to splice these into some existing low voltage wiring. I had plenty of spare power in my transformer to handle the additional load so it was mostly sorting out how to minimize all the wire runs.

Great housing, light is too white
So out of all the options on amazon, these are the best in my opinion. However, not in stock form. I like the housing that these lights come with, it is sturdy and has no little screws that hold it together, you know the screws in the other lights out there will rust or corrode from being outside and strip out or break when you need to take them off for any reason. These housings use a twist-lock design and I think its superior. That's where it ends though. Yes the LEDs are bright, but they are not 3000K, they are much whiter light, probably closer to 4K or 4500K and that just doesn't work for landscape mood lighting. So I took the LED boards out and installed custom sockets for a GU5 LED bulb and used a 2700K replaceable LED bulb. Basically all I kept was the housing and gutted all the internals and made my own lights. For the price, its still well worth it considering the fact that anything comparable to these at a local store is $20-30 a piece. Good lights if you're ok with a bright white then get these and enjoy them, If you want more of a soft white, unless you want to do the mods internally, look elsewhere. I think they are too white. I, however, am buying more because I can do the mods and like the lights.

Rich Looking Accent Light
The lights are solidly built and fully enclosed. I mounted 15 of them on our three foot tall stone wall around our pool area. Warm color, easy installation. These do not have wire harness connectors but do come with waterproof wire nuts and plenty of wire. I'm glad I bought them and would recommend them to my friends.

These are great!
I replaced the expensive lights my installer used after almost all of them died within a few years. These were easy to swap out and a lot more affordable. But the major selling point for me is that they are sealed. The other lights I had wasps would nest in them, and they probably failed because the LED board is exposed more to the elements. I bought a bunch of these to have some as spares but not a single one has failed on me yet. Highly recommend these. I like the light level and color spectrum as well, very pleasing for my rather large deck to just have that nice glow, plus as safety on the stair rails.

Exactly what I wanted
Moved into a new house recently and there was no light on one side of the house. After researching, I chose these, and I could not be happier. I did not need a lot of light and I also wanted something where the wires did not go out the back so I could mount them without putting the wires into the side of the house. I did put some silicone caulk around the opening at the bottom where the wire comes out. That was probably not needed. Also, the rubber backing was only held on with double stick tape and some fell off, so I used rubber cement to put them back on. I bought a DEWENWILS 60W Outdoor Low Voltage Transformer, and SUNVIE Low Voltage Fastlock Wire Connectors which made installation a breeze. I could have used a lower wattage transformer, but for a few bucks more I got the 60W in case I decide to add something else to the system. You can see the difference in the before and after images.

Fantastic high end appearance
Relatively easy to install. The open for installation and have a rubber gasket when you twist back together. Nice and tight seal (I used soap on the gasket to help twist the light together after installed). Mine came with weatherproof wire nuts/ marettes with silicone. They are not overly bright but perfect for accent and ambiance. On the stairs they are brighter due to how close they are to the tread. I will definitely buy more if I need to add some. Very pleased.

Had to Say Something
I got these lights to add some nice lighting to a privacy fence I built this summer. I usually use Hampton Bay low voltage stuff but decided to get this product instead. The quality of the lights are amazing and the installation was so easy. It hooked right up to my existing low voltage box. Great product.

Good quality, quite bright.
Good quality construction, reassuringly weighty. I used them on alternate steps and it looks perfect; lighting all the steps would be too bright for me. I'm not a fan of super bright landscape lighting and I typically prefer the colour of incandescent bulbs but these look great. The lights shine down and across the steps with no glare in your eyes as you walk up the steps.

A LOT better than the price tag suggests
Random notes: - They're mounting flush over a through-hole for the cable, or with the cable running over the mounting plane, leaving at the bottom of the housing. There's a cavity on the bottom edge to route the cable either way, without binding. Simple enough. Just drill in the right spot, and everything falls into place. - The case is cast aluminium, both the backing plate and the spherical top. I was betting PVC, but no. Cool. - The light leaves through a diffusor window. The window chemically welded shut. And there's a silicone gasket to keep the case shut. Looks water-proof enough to me to survive many northwestern rain/frost cycles. - Pro-tip on the gasket: The case is closed with a 15-degree turn to seat the top half. Which can be quite hard to perform. That's not a manufacturing problem with the case. That gasket is just slightly sticking. Bring a can of silicone spray, or find a bit of clear grease, and it screws on easily. - The PCB has a rectifier and a small switch-mode buck converter. Hence no supply polarity, and the wide applicable voltage range. And relatively efficiently so. They only get hand-warm during the evening. - The PCB also has a relatively thick ground plane, screwed tight against the aluminum housing, to sink heat. Not expecting the electronics to suffer easily. - Luminance though the window is just about right, imho. Matter of taste. This is not a long term resume. And ~20/piece isn't dirt cheap. But I do believe this is a whole lot of outdoor-LED for the money. Could not be happier.
