bought this punch down tool for my home network setup and it works perfectly. The build quality is solid, and it feels comfortable in the hand. The blade is sharp and consistently cuts the excess wire without any issues. It saved me a lot of time while installing my wall sockets and patch panels. It feels sturdy and durable enough for long-term use. If you are doing any DIY networking at home, this is a must-have tool for the price. Highly recommended!

It arrived faulty as it did not snip the cable after punching it down. I emailed the company and after sending them my order number and a video identifying the fault they offered me either a full refund or a replacement product. I chose a replacement product which was shipped quickly and does the job I need it to. Cannot fault the customer service of this company.

This is a very sturdy good value punch down tool. I strongly suggest before using iy that you tighten the bolts holding the case together as two of mine were loose and I needed to undo the nut, turn it over and retighten. Once done this works really well with a good positive punch and its cuts cleanly. I had a tool like this from my BT days and it lasted 30 years until I lost it. This is much the same quality so hope it will last a very long time.

Definitely worth the price

I bought it to make only two sockets, and it worked as expected. It is useful only if you use it once in a while. For professional use or several sockets, it will be a problem due to low quality.

The big punch down works great for cat5e if you are doing cat6a with shielding the small punch (yellow one) is more useful to make sure every connection is fully down.

Used this for a DIY job and it worked ok. Not sure how long it will last. The wire cutter worked very well until it broke after ~5 jobs.

You cannot work on a connector box without this. I am a novice, but with this tool felt like an expert. Only did one cable though so cannot talk about durability, but so far, i am happy.
