Bought used
I had this title as an audiobook and I knew I wanted a printed copy to refer to. I got it used in good or acceptable condition. Shipping was fast. Book has a small coffee or something stain, but usable for my purpose.

Great read for all instructional coaches.
This book is filled with protocols, resources, and tools to help start and dive deeper into the student centered coaching model. There are talking stems, if-then scenarios, a results based coaching tool to help guide you, and even a rubric for effective student centered coaching. Quick read, but more importantly a great resource that I will continue to go back to again and again.

Great content, poor book
This is an essential read for new coaches but all coaches can benefit. There were so many times in this read where I found myself almost looking around to see if they were watching me! Every move in coaching seems to be covered -from the drive by coaching to feeling good because you feel needed even though you may not be assessing yourself on student impact. I personally grew with each chapter both professionally and personally. My ONLY disappointment is that the first two chapters fell out before they were even finished! I put the book open face down twice and that was all it took. Now I am trying to keep the pages in order while I read.
