Bakuman?, Vol. 20: Dreams and Reality: Volume 20

This was a great series and it ended as great as Crow did in the manga series a great read. As a fan of the author and artist I can truly say that I loved this series but not out of devotion but because the series is genuinely that good despite what those who have tastes that conflict with the series say.

The book came in perfect condition, and it's exactly what I was hoping for. This series is funny, educational, romantic and overall entertaining. Time flies by when I read it!

Such a wonderful and inspiring manga series! Highly recommend the anime too, and the new live-action film!

When you fight for your dreams, nothing can stop you. It is a beautiful ending for an incredible manga series.

Having been an avid follower of the Bakuman manga since its three-chapter preview in Shonen Jump Weekly, I'm glad to finally see this series end before it overstayed its welcome. It was a good series, although like every series, it did have its flaws and often required suspension of belief, but hey, it's manga, and I don't read manga for realism. I think its biggest problems were the constant coincidences scattered throughout the series (think 'small world'-type of coincidences--everyone seemed to know each other already from their relatives), and the over-optimism of the series itself. Everything works out perfect for everyone, except the characters we are supposed to hate. Although these were small flaws and they didn't detract from the enjoyment of the series, they were still a bit annoying. This final volume ties up any loose ends that were left untied, and it does so in a very satisfying manner. I won't go into details, since I would totally spoil it. All I can say is: buy it. If you've read and bought the whole series, buy this one. Complete the collection. I will be rereading this series again soon, because it's such a great series. Also this came in perfect condition and came in good time. ***** out of ***** By far one of the most satisfying endings I've ever read in a manga.

This might be the best story to come out of Japan to give me the happiness vibes of a good ending. It's perfect. I bought this book for my collection even though I read it several times online.

This manga is one of the best. I loved this series and will definitely read it again. The art is lovely and the story keep me reading til the end (volume 20). Has romance part and friendship part with friendly competition between manga artists.

Bakuman just did it. The art is s o beautiful and the story is so breath taking till the end. The dream, the obstacles and the final page everything is well made. The perfect ending for a perfect manga. A masterpiece..!!

As expected, Bakuman followed the typical trend of manga published under the shonen jump imprint and had a happy ending. That shouldnt at all be surprising especially with the cover chosen and the actual type of goal imagined for people at the start. In any event if one has stuck with the series through all 20 volumes then they definitely know what to expect from the writers. As a whole Bakuman was a fantastic event filled with fun, suspense, and shock. The voice acting arc in this volume was wonderful while the ending moments for Reversi and the drama surrounding it and how short it was for a JUMP series made it memorable. The page drawn for Reversi was a masterpiece. It is truly unforgettable. One should look to the anime to see the Opening theme song and animation given to Reversi as its a must watch and hear. [...] Overall the only thing lacking in Bakuman were extras like an afterword and more. Most other manga typically have writers give us a funny sketch, life story over the course of writing the series, and a few more things. This just ends with a page spread celebrating the end of the final chapter and thats it.
