It's a great kayak
Update: It has been over a year with the kayak Still in fantastic shape and has several kayak trips and road trips. Still love it.First of all the delivery: the company contacted me early the day of delivery and verified everything. They delivered on time, no issues. The outer wrapping was torn up over about half the kayak but the only damage to the kayak was a few scuffs, much less than what it gets when being loaded on my truck.More critically, the kayak: The kayak is great. I am not a small guy (6' 4", about 260 pounds) with a 34-inch inseam. The kayak fits me with no problems, in fact this is the first kayak I have ever used where I don't have the footrests extended to the max location. I actually had to pull them in about two inches from max. The kayak is extremely stable and tracks in a straight line with no tendency to curve when I stop paddling. The wind picked up while I was trying it out and it handled well, both heading into the wind and with the wind, showing no tendency to spin. Due to the river and wind directions, I did not really see how it handled a side breeze but I expect it to be similar. The kayak paddles very easily given its size. I expected more resistance paddling but it was little different from my old 9 1/2 ft kayak.Overall I really enjoyed the kayak. I will try to post additional comments and photos once I have several more trips completed.

Great boat
Love the boat, just be sure to inspect closely for shipping damages because it doesn't come in a box.

Best kayak in itโs price range!
We were looking at several different kayaks to purchase when we came across the Pungo 120 and 125. They had excellent reviews so we thought we would give them a shot. We had read several reviews where they arrived damaged, but this was not our experience. We ordered the 120 for my wife and the 125 for myself and both showed up in perfect condition. We took them out one evening just before sunset and wow what a difference from our old dolphin kayaks. These guys being 12 foot track better and are much faster on the water than our old 10 footers. The adjustable seat and cockpit make it stand out from the rest. They also have a rear bulkhead with dry storage that a lot of others donโt have. We could not be happier with our decision to purchase the Pungo.

Highly recommended
We took these on a trip in Yellowstone. Despite challenging wind and waves on two days, they performed very well and Iโm glad we got them. The yak is stable, responsive and fast for a recreational yak.

Solid in all respects
This is a super popular kayak for a reason. Very stable but at 12.5 feet it also has some speed. Not too heavy but not light. The seat is amazing. All the equipment is good. The console is very handy. I also really like the large space behind the seat. Great for a good sized cooler. Pretty much canโt go wrong at the beginner or intermediate level!

Poor Quality Control
This is not my first Wilderness Systems kayak but my third. My second Pungo. First let me say that I think WS makes a great kayak and that is why I trusted in buying this boat on Amazon when I saw it on sale for $850 and free shipping. Great deal!!The boat arrived over a week later than initially scheduled, not that big of a deal. But then when I found the deep gouges in the stern and all of the small holes in the molding, bungees not fully secured, deck emblem cockeyed, and a rough edge on the outer rim of the cockpit opening, I was extremely disappointed.I was hoping to reach out to WS via my order thru Amazon but there was no such option, leaving me with no choice but to leave a one star review in the hopes that WS or the Amazon retailer that sold me this boat made on the Friday before Memorial Weekend to remedy this situation.
