This camera was immediately recognized by Windows 10 which made it simple to install. I am testing it on my Asus Laptop as well as a Dell Desktop. Both recognized it immediately. I am a media director and use various broadcast programs but thought I would test it with programs that regular people might use. I used Zoom and OBS to test both image and audio. It functioned perfectly with both programs. The mic audio was clear and clean. The image was so much better than the onboard camera on my laptop and was a nice clear HD image. I was even able to use the virtual background feature in zoom. It functioned as I would expect a webcam should and at a reasonable price. I am extremely pleased with this camera.

I have used this webcam for a number of meetings and it works great. The image quality is better than expected and very good if you have adequate lighting. The built-in microphone is ok and gets the job done well. The included tripod is a little stiff at first but works great after playing with it a bit. The included privacy shutter works great. It comes separate so you can choose to use it or not. It is easy to attach but does slightly block the power and signal LEDs but it's not an issue. Overall I think it's a great webcam and you can't go wrong with the price. I highly recommend it.

I purchased this Webcam for use with my dock that I can switch back and forth between my home and work computers. Pros: The video is crisp and the sound is clear. The installation was plug and play and works with both my Mac and my windows computers. Cons: My camera occasionally shorts out on the video. Either the screen goes blank or it does a weird feedback across the bottom half, which is not good when you're using it daily for meetings. Also, the cover is actually an aftermarket stick on cover, and you'll want to clean the lens area with alcohol before putting it on... Mine has fallen off a few times. All in all, if you need an inexpensive but solid camera for occasional use, it's a good pick. But if you're looking for something daily, I'd spend a little more money.

I took this picture using the webcam (don't judge) to show the quality of picture this webcam has. It's not super sharp like a camera, but it is very sharp for an inexpensive webcam. It's better than some phone cameras. It is truly plug and play with not much finagling to set up. If your computer doesn't recognize it, then it's not plugged in correctly because I've used it in a pinch when we needed a webcam on a computer that it has never been plugged into for a Zoom meeting and within a minute to dial into the meeting, it was working perfectly with microphone and video. No complaints here!

We’ve been using zoom a lot now and our old laptop camera wasn’t the best. I can see a big difference with the new one. I wouldn’t say 1080p but it’s a upgrade for us so we don’t care. Haven’t had any issues with it. I plugged it in and it automatically downloaded the driver. It’s easy to switch on zoom to this camera. It comes with a top to put over the camera when not in use. I don’t know about the microphone, some have said it sounded scratchy once but each time we tested it it sounded fine, so I’m not sure since there’s so many variables. But I do think our laptop mic sounds clearer and so for something important I might use that mic and switch to this one for casual use. Either way happy with the camera. First off, I would like to say that I am a streamer. I used the Logitech C920S prior, a much more expensive camera. Comparing the two are out of the question, as the C920S offers more features that I must have while streaming, but that being said, the W5 has a very decent video quality and was as simple as any usb device is to install. The mic is standard as you would find on any USB device at this price. I would not use the mic for streaming as its muffled my voice from where it sits on my monitor. The 110º Wide View was a plus for this overall, but due to the fact I have a green screen, i'd need to move the green screen extremely closer to my chair leaving zero space behind me. I will use this webcam as a secondary view when it is needed so I do not have to disconnect my C920S all the time. Overall I give this a 3 star rating. Changes that could be made would be including a management app as such as Logitech Capture. If you are just starting out as a streamer or only need it for the occasional zoom meeting, this is a great deal and a great product. If you are a long time, established streamer, I would not go with this particular webcam.

In the case of a camera embedded in my laptop, the performance was so low that I bought this webcam. When I first received it, it was very simple and easy to install. Without having to install the driver separately, it was automatically recognized when only usb was plugged in, so it worked very well just by turning off the camera in my laptop. In terms of the most important performance, FullHD (1080p) was very clean and high quality as described. Meeting through video call or contact with acquaintances will be very useful. In terms of quality, I was satisfied without any defects.

NO LA RECOMIENDO. busca una marca que tenga garantía.

Worked for one week, and then the video portion stopped working. Quality reflects price unfortunately!
