Maxpedition Fatty Pocket Organizer

I was on the fence about getting this. I had read the reviews, and they all seemed positive, but I was thinking that it couldn't be that good. Now that I've had it for a bit, I have found it really is as good as they say. Let me break this down into a few different sections: External: The zippers appear really tough. They come with small pieces of paracord as zipper pulls, and I'll probably replace them. They work fine, and do the job well, I'm just wanting something more solid than the cord. The velcro patch on front. I have seen a number of these organizers online with patches on this section. I don't have any patches, or really understand why I would need one, but if you want to put one on there, it is available. It would be pretty cool if I could get a patch custom made, maybe my name or something? The front pocket. I use this to store some small things. I don't want to give the impression that this isn't tough, but I would probably put "softer" items in this. It would be great for things like paper, or ID cards etc... I'm not saying you couldn't put "harder" objects in the pocket, but the mesh material is simply not as strong as the rest. That said, I still use the front pocket ALOT because it is easiest to get to. Loop on top: I use this as a pull tab. The pants I wear for work have a cargo pocket, and I normally keep the pocket organizer in that cargo pocket. I use this tab to pull it out. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but this tab is very handy. In my mind, it just goes to show the fore-thought that maxpedition put into their product. Internal: Elastic loops: These are fantastic. If you search for maxpedition pocket organizer online, there are a ton of people that have posted pictures of how they stored items in these loops. The different sizes and different orientations (some horizontal, some vertical) make it much more flexible in storage options. Internal pockets: One pocket is zippered, one is not. Both are good for flat items (think papers, bandages, map protractor, small notebooks, change, etc...) One thing that can be overlooked is how thick the organizer is. It seems to be about 2.5" thick. So I can put some cylindrical objects in the "binding" of the organizer. Of course this is dependent upon what you've got on the elastic loops next to it, but there are a a lot of possibilities. Overall As I said, there are a million options for how to use this organizer. I don't know that I would wear this on my belt or that it would fit in my normal pockets. Apparently you can connect it to a larger pack if desired, and I can see how folks could use this for a medical pack or whatever. As I said, I use it in my cargo pocket, and it seems like it will last for a VERY long time time. I cannot find anything to complain about.

Excellent quality materials and very well put together. The size is very deceiving. It looks smaller that is really is, and can hold quite a lot of items. Be it toiletries, survival kits, stationary, this will serve you well. All these pocket organizers are great. Check them all out, compare sizes, and see which size suits your needs. Not all fit into pockets. The Fatty in particular is too bulky for a pocket, but is perfect for a large bag, vehicle etc. If you are carrying a lot of small items, these can help keep everything organized and readily available, rather than having to dig through your bag or glove box for something. If you are considering one for your bag, you could get the Beefy instead. It is much larger than the Fatty. Note: When it arrives, the paracord zipper pulls will be tied in a simple knot using both ends. This is rather weak. I have included a guide for another knot. It will not come loose on its own, only if you deliberately untie it. It also keeps the paracord in an open loop, to easily put a finger through and open or close it. Lots of reviews on youtube made me decide to go with this over the EDC and the Micro and Mini. I still may purchase one of those smaller ones but for the time being this is great to fill with necessities and throw it in my car. I don't have it loaded to the brim like many people do but currently it holds all of the tools I feel comfortable carrying in my car along with some very basic first aid items. That being said, what I do carry inside leaves it slim enough to fit in my glove box. If i decide to carry larger things i may need to throw this in my back cargo area or under the seat. Product is very nice quality. I'd imagine this will def carry me thru the life of this new vehicle and into my next vehicle as well. Very good stitching and the zippers seem rugged and reliable. My only complaint was the keychain lanyard that comes pre-installed on the inside flap but one swipe of my Kershaw and it disappeared. Others may like this and put it to good use but for me it seemed to be in the way so i 86'd it. Molle system on the back is nice as is the carrying loop. Also a big plus is the velcro on the front to attach you favorite patch and the webbin on the front is high quality and will do a great job holding anything you'd like to carry inside. Def a great investment for your car or any of your tools you carry on a daily basis or even as a nice supplement to your BOB.

The fatty EDC organizer has successfully made my EDC carry more organized and cleanly than any other method. I originally just threw everything into a bag, but with the EDC organizer, I can now carry everything in an organized fashion. QUALITY: 5/5 -The material, stitching, fit and finish are all high grade. Not once did I ever feel that the handle would rip off or a stitching would come loose. The bands on the inside are thick and sturdy and hold the items into place. SIZE: 5/5 -If you're like me and have a lot of EDC items, you might want to stick with the fatty EDC organizer rather than the original EDC organizer. The fatty organizer allowed me to hold a significant more amount of items versus the original EDC organizer. Granted, the size of the EDC organizer is certainly more "fatty", but let's be honest, it's not like you were planning to carry it in your pocket (despite the name of the product). FUNCTION: 5/5 -This item does exactly what it needs to do. Organize all of your EDC gear. Let's say it has made my car and desk a lot cleaner. OVERALL: 5/5 -This is an awesome product and the price is very reasonable. It has kept my items neatly packed and cleanly. Let me list everything I have in my pack... This is a very good pouch, and I generally can't say enough about the ruggedness of Maxpedition gear, but the Fatty seems to slightly exceed the limitations inherent in the clamshell design. The Fatty is absolutely well crafted. The material is bulletproof, so to speak. The zippers and elastic bands are high quality, and I expect them to last a long time. This offering is also bigger than its EDC and Mini cousins from the same line, and you can fit a lot into it (see customer image). The main problem that I find with the Fatty is that more will fit into it than can be comfortably secured. As a result, you either end up with a big awkward bulge in the center with empty space around the edges, or you pack every crevice of the thing and stuff is just kind of thrown in there haphazardly. In either case, the zippers tend to stick a bit going around the corners. Beyond that, this case is really too big to comfortably carry in a the external pockets of anything I own, and so it usually ends up inside whatever pack I'm carrying. Personally, I find it to be less convenient than the regular EDC or mini, both of which come together tightly and neatly when everything is secured and fit into a lot more places. The basic utility of the Fatty is beyond question. I think it would be great for a glove box emergency kit. For day-to-day use, at least in my case, I would take two Mini's over one Fatty any day.

I keep it in my cargo pocket, just some simple EDC tools, a multitool, a knife, a flashlight, a screwdriver with hex bits and regular/specialty bits, a specialty driver for tight spaces, wire cutters, fishing line and hooks, waterproof matches, a lighter, a zippo and a flint striker, just things that I commonly need, i'm going to get more for specialized packs, each one dedicated for a certain purpose, lockpicking/entry, medical/trauma, gun cleaning kit, fire kit, general medications kit for illness, hygiene kit. Just to be able to throw these things in my bag when I travel and have everything organized for fishing, making a fire, sanitizing water, medical treatment, hygiene and entry. This pouch is very durable and rugged, it's been a lot of places and still looks new without any damage or wear that I can see, but be aware that if you put things into the elastic bands that they will stretch and loosen over time so things that fit snugly before will slide out if they are smooth and heavy like a multi-tool, the way around that would be putting something slightly oversized but I don't believe that would be necessary, you might damage the bands and you surely will not be able to close the pouch. If you want a good EDC pouch get this one, I am very surprised at how many things fit into this, you would be surprised as well, I still, with everything I said I had inside of it, it still has a lot of room for more and it will still close, just don't expect it to be lightweight if you are carrying a lot of stuff, I recommend carrying it in a backpack side pouch or belt if you need to.

I purchased this in order to replace my iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit's sleeve (which is not bad - I just use it daily and overload it and I've worn through 3 of them in 6 years). The small loops are just small enough to fit tweezers, but big enough to expand to fit slim USB drives, small thermal paste tubes, and iSesamo pry tools. My only complaint is that the key key ring clip thing to the top left is not removable and it does get in the way, but when closing the bag I just stuff it down alongside the driver set. Maybe someday I'll rip the stitching and remove it, but for now it's not a big deal. Compared to Vanquest's Husky 2.0 Maximizer, the Husky offers roughly an extra 1/2-3/4" of space in each direction - a good thing for almost every other use case, but a problem for me as the iFixit toolkit no longer fits snugly and slides around inside the organizer. The Husky also has slightly larger elastic loops - a good thing for most again, but a problem for me as my tweezers slip out too easily. I otherwise prefer the Husky for it's second low row of elastic for small items and the removable key ring clip, but for my specific use I will be staying with the Maxpedition Fatty because it's slightly smaller dimensions fit my toolkit better. Both are otherwise of identical build quality.

Solidly built. Great placement of elastic gear loops to maximize limited space. I found I was carrying the same stuff with me every day; stuff I either use daily, or carry for the day I'll be glad I carried it for an emergency. It used to free float in the smaller pocket of whatever pack I was using and switching packs required multiple fistful transfers of gear. I find i regularly change from pack to pack day to day switching from oversized backpack to lumbar packs and such, depending on what I am doing. It's really nice to just grab the Fatty and toss it into what ever pack i am bringing that day. Here is a list of what fits in the Fatty for my Every day carry: Right side gear loops 1) EpiPen for allergies 2) bottle of antihistamines 3) bottle of pain relievers 4) bottle of medicine 5) inhaler 6) power bank/hand warmer 7) ratchet set Right side rear pocket has cash and credit card Loose: bottle of Iodine water purifying tablets and bottle of neutralizing tablets Left side gear loops 1) and outdoors oriented multi tool with the regular tools plus a ferro rod for striking a fire, safety whistle and hammer surface. 2) 2 tooth picks/floss 3) writing pen 4) USB to USB C cord 5) rechargeable flashlight 6) 4 bandaids In the back left pocket is 2 energy bars and a waterproof writing tablet Enough for most of the situations I feel I need to be prepared for. In combination with a few EDC items in my pockets. Overall, the Fatty is well worth the money!!!

予想通り。四次元ポケットかってくらい物がたくさん入る。ただ、ソーヤーミニを右ポケットに入れて、真ん中にゴールゼロを入れる時はお互いを少しずらすなど、大きい物を入れる時は少しコツが入る。

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant All-Round Organiser I bought the Maxpedition Fatty Pocket Organiser to store my charging cables, power banks, plugs and other tech accessories rather than for traditional EDC use, and it's quickly becoming one of my favourite pouches. The build quality is excellent, with plenty of internal organisation to keep everything neat and easy to find. It's surprising how much it can hold without becoming overly bulky, and the layout makes it easy to adapt for whatever you want to carry. I've been so impressed with it that I've already bought a second one to store commonly used items around the house, and I can see myself buying another specifically for travel in the future. Whether you're using it for EDC, tech gear, travel accessories or general organisation, it's a brilliant all-rounder and well worth the money.

J'ai remplis cette pochette avec tout mon fourbis que je trimbale tous les jours avec moi. Les survivalistes, les amateurs de zombies appellent cela un EDC ( every day carry...). Ca fait le boulot, c'est costaud, le mien fait un kilo tout plein fait, c'est du bon matériel aux coutures solides et au tissu bien "Tough". Comme il est bien gros, je change de sac, mais ça, ça n'a rien de pénible. Maxpédition est dans le solide et dans le durable.

Good: Great quality perfect size and feels sturdy. Bad: The internal elastic straps on the right hand side is a bit loose.
