JUST FOR MEN Mustache & Beard Dye, Keratin, Blond M-10/15 (1 Pack)

Hear me out ladies…eyebrow tint! I seen a video of a girl claiming this stuff works for eyebrows. I have blond eyebrows and hate drawing them in. I got this one (blonde) because I figured if it didn’t turn out I didn’t want it super obvious. It turned out great! I did let it develop for 17 minutes to get the color I like. It washed out after about 7 days.

I had been very happy with the old color called "Dark Blonde/Lightest Brown 15" but they seem to no longer make it, and what's left in stock is going for an astronomical price. So I hadn't planned on liking this one. I first tried the Light Brown 25, but it's not only too dark, it's got an ashen look to it with fewer highlights, so I really looked like that toy with the metal filings and the magnet, my beard looked so fake. But I was pleased to discover that you can just leave this Blonde 10/15 color on longer - as others have mentioned - to get the darker blonde that I was going for, and when I get that dark color it seems to have some highlights in it that go very well with my head hair. Some have commented that they don't run out of both developer and toner at the same time, but that's just a trick of the eye; the toner is thinner and flattens out in the dish, so it's hard to eyeball equal measures. You get better at it. I also find I can get quite a few applications out of one box - maybe four. Also some say that it loses effectiveness over time. Maybe, but I used up the last of my old #15 when it had sat half-used for three years (I shaved off my beard for a few years) and it still worked. The toner had darkened in the tube but the result was still about the same. Also, I find that since practically everybody over 45 has a bit of grey in their beard it can be a good idea to leave a few spots, like the soul patch or the mustache grey, or make the spots just below the corners of the mouth darker by doing an extra application there between treatments. It makes your beard more believable. Anyone who wonders if you color your beard is thrown off the scent by the grey spots which most men have naturally anyway.

Doesn't last as long as I'd hoped, but the color goes well with the tone of my natural blonde hair and it's very easy to use. Doesn't stain skin at all.

If going grey try the lightest color and work your way darker trim it first and I leave it on my grey about 5-7 minutes as some grey is harder to dye than others Avoid washing your beard with harsh soaps to make it last longer I do mine weekly

Fits my need

I have tried several colors & methods, but this never will target only the gray hairs. I have a light brown beard with lots of blonde & red hues in it. You can probably go as far as calling it a dark strawberry blonde. The best results I've received were using a lighter color (in this case blonde) & applying to the heavier gray areas first & then moving to less dense gray areas by just going lightly over the surface hairs. Then after 5 mins washing out with a shampoo low in sulfates. I generally need to reapply to the dense gray areas a second time, but this time only leave on for 2 mins max before washing out again. This has given me a more blended color and minimized the gray rather than cover it up completely. It's important to include your time spent during application into your overall dye time. This is a more natural look as if I leave it on too long or use a darker dye the color will be so strong that it strips all of the blonde & red hues and takes you from a light brown to a darker ashy brown which looks well dyed & fake, even if using the blonde. One important note, the hair will darken some after an hour or so even after you wash the dye out. So take this into account after you wash out the dye if it looks like you came close but not quite achieving your desired results before reapplying. You can always re-apply later or the following day for a light touch-up if it still didn't achieve your desired results. But it's very hard to go lighter if you've over-dyed & requires some bad smelling harsh chemicals.
