As a sufferer of Hypoparathyroidism (low calcium) I find these supplements extremely helpful. After taking the subscribed alternatives by my GP for over 20 years which caused me to experience severe migraines and stomach cramps I chose to research my own treatment for my condition. After taking these for 6 months my calcium levels increased to just above normal levels which is more than the alternative could do, but the major bonus is no more migraines and stomach cramps. The individual tablets are big and not easy to swallow however this is easily remedied by crushing them in to powder, breaking them in half or my preferred method is to just simply chomp them in my mouth prior to swallowing. All of which is easy to do. They are totally tasteless so obviously leave no nasty aftertaste in your mouth however if you do chomp them I recommend taking them with plenty of water as they can go quite bitty and tend to lifer in the mouth. Some pills do come broken but I think this is a small price to pay for a quality product. Also very good value for money.

I had noticed that some reviewers had mentioned that whilst these tablets used to come in a brown, oblong coated style, fairly big but easy to follow but that subsequently when ordering the same item they had come in a round white uncoated form which was really difficult to swallow. I have to say that happened to me last time I ordered them! They were flaky and sometimes got stuck in my throat so I would have to spit them out. So I took a chance and ordered a new supply and they just arrived and I'm pleased to say they are now back to the brown, oblong coated style! Such a relief!

Like others have said this is a good product, but it is hard to swallow. I thought people were exaggerating when they said it was hard to swallow, but even I struggled with it - but I've found that by using a full glass of water it is OK and I can get it down. But can see how others could find it very hard. But on other hand the pills are very soft and so could easily be chewed and swallowed. But it would be good if there were instructions on the bottle if chewing them was an option or if this could reduce their 'slow release' capacity.

When I ordered my first jar of these calcium supplements (I'm coeliac and lactose intolerant, and don't get enough dairy), the tablets we're quite big, dark in colour and easy to.swallow like any other tablet. When I ran out I re ordered without hesitation as the product and seller were great. This time the packaging is.slightly different, and when I opened it the tablets are around the same size but white. No big deal I thought, until I tried to swallow one!!! Seriously having problems swallowing them even cutting them in half, yet i take my usual medication / big pils morning and night no problem, but this is bery hard to swallow. End up swallowing more water whilst the pill just won't go down, then when it eventually does it takes ages. I really do not like them now but since I've bought them.im trying to persevere but next time will try and look for ones with the old texture as these must be rougher or something.

Excellent value for money

This item is awful. Whatever is in the coating makes me I’ll and needs reformulated. I also think the terrible red coating affects the absorbency of the Calcium and Magnesium, as in you don’t absorb much of it.

I bought it for my mum and she was pleased.

Malgré la prise régulière de deux comprimés/jours (comprimés pris avec un repas), mes dernières analyses de sang montrent un fort déficit en vitamine D, de l'ordre de la moitié du niveau minimum. Un produit inefficace qui a obligé le médecin à supplémenter par ampoule de vitamine D à prendre tous les mois.
