Does the job.

Works well and lasts for a while. Used it multiple times and still have lots left. Just make sure to have alcohol handy to clean up afterwards as it’s very sticky. Tip for first timers. When removing your heatsink from your CPU, warm it up first to loosen up the paste otherwise the paste will be too thick and you will rip your CPU out of the socket and potentially damage it or the motherboard. An easy way to do it is by disconnecting the fan and just letting the CPU run for a bit with just the heatsink on it. And when removing the heatsink, don’t yank. Just gently lift straight up with lightly twisting the heatsink left to right to loosen up pastes grip. Ripped a CPU out of the socket a few times over the decades and sucks having to check for bent or missing pins afterwards while still trying to remove it from the heatsink it is still stuck to. And if you bend pins, trying to straighten them back safely can be frustrating.

Let's face it there not rated very high with the thermal heat transferring to the heatsink as much as other like Thermal grizzly. But there good enough i believe like 8.5w/mk or some like that. TG is anywhere from 8.5 as well and 13 or so for there highest non liquid metal thermal paste. Best things going for Noctua is there paste reliably and long lasting life, easier to spread (in my opinion) then other paste. And fills in those gaps nicely. And lastly there price, you can get a bigger tube of this then most other for cheaper. Oh one more thing, they actually make there very own other pc parts for cooling like heatsinks and fans. And have been around for a long time. The brand name Noctua has a good reputation, and hasn't angered customers recently like other companies have. (At least i don't think they have. So unless you're overclocking, Noctua is a great buy for cheap and reliable thermal paste that will last year's before needed to be changed again.

I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

This a excellent thermal paste, the cooling has improved 2 PCs, one of a old PC Cpu that has fixed the overheating when watching YouTube Videos, the installation is very easy as it is great packaging. The performance has also improved when using the PC, less than 35 celsius when browsing the web, the old pc has 2 different as on the latitude e6410, but is very good to use old tech as it should be in the year as before.

This paste came with my HSF from Noctua. Ig goes on well and does a decent job, but with the fact that they say it has about 3 year life I decided to remove the HST and put a competitors past that I have used their products for years and several system 5+ years old are still going strong with excellent temps. This is a good paste, but not sure I want to worry about re-applying in 2-3 years. The other paste is rated for 7+ years.

Excelente hice el cambio de pasta a mi cpu y quedo excelente

Esta pasta térmica es realmente grandiosa. Anteriormente tenía que cambiarla seguido (aprox. cada 2-3 meses), pero desde que utilizo esta pasta, no he tenido necesidad de hacer ningún cambio.

Nella sostituzione del processore al MacPro 6.1 avevo usato la pasta termica di uso militare che mi era rimasta dai miei montaggi elettronici di circa 40 anni fa. Una prova per verificare anche la durabilitá nel tempo di questo importante componente per la dissipazione termica. La pasta termica che avevo era di quella che utilizzato per montare i transistor di potenza sui dissipatori con l'solante elettrico in mica. Anche se l'aspetto era rassicurante, purtroppo l'efficacia termica non é stato all'altezza delle aspettative. Sotto stress la CPU andava su di temperatura piú di quanto mi aspettassi. Ho, quindi, ordinato la Noctua NT-H1, rismontato tutto. Ripulita la CPU e applicato questa pasta termica nella misura e nel modo consigliato nella piccola guida apllegata e..... il la tenuta termica del processore é stata di tutt'altro livello: di norma lo Xeon E5-2697 v2 che ho montato nel Mac Pro 6.1 si tiene sui 44˚C (T.amb 20˚C) e sotto stress non va oltre i 65"C mentre con la pasta per transistor andava su anche oltre i 70˚C. Durata nel tempo della pasta in esercizio? Credo che basta far riferimento alla temperatura di esercizio ordinario e sotto stress, con test eseguiti sempre alla stessa temperatura ambiente. RIcordarsi anche si ripulire dalla polvere tutto il cammino interessato al passaggio dell'aria di raffreddamento. Ottimo prodotto: utilizzare in quantitá modeste perché la pressione tra CPU e dissipatore determina lo spargimento e la fuoriuscita dal piano di contatto tra le parti lasciando un anello attorno la CPU che resta in sede senza spargersi solo se é modesto. Prodotto consigliato.
