WORKS WELL, EASY TO CLEAN WORKS AS ADVERTISED

I was looking for a replacement pump for my indoor fountain (Alpine 72" mirror waterfall fountain). I couldn't find a compatible one on the Alpine store page. This looked very similar to the pump in my fountain, so I took a chance and bought it. It fits perfectly and runs quietly as described. The orignal pump started getting loud and finally died out after almost 5 years. Hopefully this will last for a while.

So far I love the pumps, but one of them showed up without the 4 black rubber feet in the accessory pack. As I use it at the bottom of a water barrel it doesn't matter but Amazon customer service gave me a nice credit on my account as an apology. I didn't want to return a good pump for another good pump w feet so I just kept it as is and got credit offered to me. I'm happy and the pumps work great. They come with different nozzles for different applications and the length of hose is a great value if you need to use it.

Perfect for the pond

I use this pump when I’m cleaning the aquariums. It pumps the water out fairly fast! Thus far it has held up well. I use it once a week on 4 tanks-one of which is a 75 gallon. Just plug it in and keep it under water.

Bought in December now in may it doesn’t work anymore Frustrating

Overall it's a nice and pretty powerful little pump. I used it yesterday to fill a 29 gallon fish tank from buckets. I deducted two stars, one for the fact that the pump stops sucking in water once the water doesn't completely cover it. That leaves about 4" of water at the bottom of the container you're pumping water out of. may not be an issue when used in a fountain but it's an issue when almost a gallon out of a 5-gallon bucket isn't getting used. The second reason I deducted a star is the tubing that came with it. I specifically bought a pump that came with tubing so I wouldn't have to separately buy it or go to the hardware store. The tubing is almost unusable. It's too soft and folded over in the box, and it has deep creases that basically prevent 90% of water flow. I had to prop up the tube and play with it a lot to make sure water actually flows. It's completely unusable as-is and I would have to buy a different one. I still have not decided if I want to keep this pump. I may end up returning it and getting a cheaper pump and tubing separately.

Works as advertised. Used it for my diy Halloween prop. The flow of water was exactly what I needed.

Great pump, works great for my pond. Came with fittings and tube. Only downside the tubing is too soft and folds if not perfectly straight and blocks water flow. I would recommend this for a pond

I love it! To take the folds out of the tubing, i heated ea fold with a hair dryer at the hottest setting and then sqeezed the fold in the opposite way until the tube was cool. In some areas i had to do it twice but when done i had a totally usable tube. This little pump works beautifully and has a lot of power! Worth the money
