Bio-active Multi-gyn (Previously Bio-fem) Actigel - 50ml Ship Wordwide

If you are looking at this product then, like me, you probably have recurrent BV/yeast infections. I've had recurrent BV infections since my late teens, and it has been a constant source of frustration and anxiety for me. It happened frequently enough that I became adept at self-diagnosing, and my gynocologist just gave me a refillable, open Rx for metrogel (and diflucan to counter the subsequent yeast infection from the antibiotic). The cycle of treatment-recovery-relapse was maddening. Eventually I found a doctor who explained that chronic BV is the result of a biofilm of bacteria building up on your vaginal lining. Treating with antibiotics will take care of the free-floating infection, but literally only scratches the surface of the biofilm. That means that your BV will be back if your microbiome ever goes out of homeostasis (which is easy to do). Enter Mutli-gyn. I use it regularly (anywhere from 2 -4 times a week, depending on my symptoms and level of sexual activity) to keep my Ph in balance. It's cheaper and lasts longer than Rephresh, and I think it works better as well. I also use the Hydrion Ph Strips to make sure I'm on track (again, MUCH cheaper than the Rephresh brand test kit you get at the drug store). If things feel "off" I might do an ACV/Water rinse-out, followed by a few days in a row of multigyn coupled with a vaginally-inserted probiotic with lactobacillus acidophilus. This regimen has kept me from having to use Metrogel for the past 11 months, which is a record for me (hope I didn't just jinx myself!). Chronic BV is just that: a chronic condition. It's likely going to be an ongoing issue for me the rest of my life, and I know I will have recurrences every now and then, but for now Multi-gyn is a great tool for helping me to manage my chronic BV.

Total game changer for me as I have been dealing off and on with BV (bacterial vaginosis) and recurrent yeast infections for quite some time. Tried a lot of different things but the BV started getting more persistent (such a nuisance!) so I decided to give this gel a shot - I was honestly getting desperate and willing to try anything. This is my first time writing a review on Amazon but I want other women to be able to find relief as well -- it's an INCREDIBLE product. I saw results VERY quickly. I don't want to sound ridiculous but I was seriously shocked there's a product like this out there that cured my issues so quickly that I had no idea about.. It burns (only very slightly, it's more of a tingling sensation) just after application, but doesn't last more than 5 or 10 minutes. I usually just apply it before bed. I haven't had a single BV outbreak since I've been using it and I don't even use it that often (several times a week in the beginning). Now that my flora is under control I just use 1 treatment after sex and that is enough to keep everything happy and healthy. I just wish it was available in the US! I'm tempted to go ahead and order as much as I can to stock up because I don't want to be without this product again.. seriously! If you are suffering from any unbalanced vaginal flora issues this is definitely WORTH TRYING. I had tried all kinds of creams, gels, prescriptions, natural remedies and probiotics... I couldn't believe how quickly this got everything back to normal AND STAYED THAT WAY.... Thank you to the geniuses that created this!! You don't realize how much you take a happy, healthy vagina for granted.. until everything is out of whack! Now I'm happy, healthy and back to feeling hella confident in my sex life again :) :) Sorry for the TMI but I want others to know that this is out there and that IT WORKS.

I've been using Amazon for over a decade and I think this is the only review I have ever given. I had taken antibiotics at least 9 times in 2015 due to multiples surgeries. I had fibroids removed during this time as well and had hoped my problems would dissipate afterwards, but things only got worse. I tried suppositories, peroxide douche, vinegar baths, dietary changes, probiotics, vitamin C and several other rx products from my ob-gyn with minimal improvement. I would be ok for a couple of weeks and the fishy odor would return (not to mention Metrogel leaves you with a yeast infection). I have always had great hygiene and I was loosing my confidence so I avoided relationships because I did not want to be intimate with anyone. Thanks to Multi-gyn Actigel I am back in the relationship world! I used it for 5 consecutive days and nights and the bv smell completely went away. Now I use it once a week for maintenance and/or after intercourse and my vaginal health could not be better! I still take my ladies probiotic as well. This combination has cured me of this 2 year battle with bacteria vaginosis. Too many women suffer in silence so I felt compelled to give this review. There is a solution and you no longer have to experience this embarrassing problem. Edited to add info: If you try it out and it works for you be sure to order another tube (or 2) so you do not run out. The only downside is the product ships from overseas so as forewarned it may take up to 6-8 weeks to receive. Apparently, I got lucky the first time and the delivery arrived within 2.5 weeks. I'm waiting for another shipment now and it feels like it's taking forever. I tried another product to hold me over until it arrives. Let's just say I'm about to give a not so stellar review.

This stuff is pretty amazing. It does completely help with symptoms and makes the itching and discharge decrease immensely. Is it a cure for BV? No. But it does 100% help with PH. The only downfall I noticed was a sour smell coming from down there when using this product. Once I quit using it, that smell went away. I have purchased the PH gel from Good Clean Love and they both have about the same effects. Great product!

I get recurrent yeast infections and have issues with discharge due to having too much estrogen and not enough progesterone (actually if I didn’t supplement I would have zero). The issue is mostly taken care of quickly, but I have flare ups every so often still at a certain point in my cycle. Working with my doctor with antibiotics sometimes helps. Sometimes it doesn’t. When it doesn’t I always use this. It’s possible if I used this more I may not have as many issues to begin with, but the product is so hard to get here in the U.S and it makes me not want to depend on it (usually have to wait about two weeks if you don’t have any on hand). It tends to burn when you first use it for a few minutes. In my experience this is only when you have an imbalance. After using it a couple of days in a row, you’ll likely notice it does not feel that way anymore. I have gone from literally feeling swollen inside to feeling perfectly fine from only using this product. I was on vacation and had nothing else but this gel and was able to have a great time because I had it available. It’s a much better formula than the Rephresh we have here in the U.S, which is almost never helpful for me. With dietary changes and a hormone supplement, this helps me keep problems at bay and feel fresh. If you’re not having luck keeping infections down even with these products ladies - drink your water and cut out your sugars. It’s a huge component of how you feel “down there” as well as anything you put in or on your vagina.

I have recurrent bacterial vaginosis and purchased Bio-active Multi-Gyn because it comes in a multi-dose tube. I had good results from a similar product but it comes with only enough individual doses for a 7-day period. So I thought with the Multi-Gyn I'd have a few extra doses in case of recurrence. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I should have re-purchased the product I had used successfully before... Bio-Active Multi-Gyn did not relieve my symptoms, burns/stings for several minutes after application and caused further irritation. I endured the added discomfort for 5 days as directed, hoping to see some improvement. I am disappointed and frustrated so I am returning what's left in the tube. Next time I will purchase what I know works for me (Balance Activ BV treatment gel) and you might want to try it for yourself.

The product I received is not what was pictured. So now I just afraid to use it. The original product does work.

I am absolutely amazed at this stuff! For the last 4 years I have been dealing with chronic bv infections. I’ve done several courses of those heavy antibiotics, the prescription antibiotic gel, and it always returned. Then I started using boric acid capsules which would work but what a disgusting mess they’d leave in my panties...and a grainy residue during sex. Also the bv would come back within a couple days when I stopped using them. So I was looking for another treatment and stumbled upon Multi-gyn. I was really skeptical. Seemed too reasonably priced to be any good. But I Googled it and read about the science behind what this product does. It made sense to me, and many people had written positive reviews. I’ve been using it now for about 3 weeks and I am so very happy!!! First off all, it literally worked after the first day (2 applications). No fishy smell anymore. No external itchiness. I used as directed, twice daily for 5 days, and now I’m using it once every other day. I’ve had sex twice in this time and both times no smell and no residue. The gel is very comfortable, no smell to it, and it doesn’t leave a mess in my panties. This has made me feel so much better about myself. I’m also using Seba Med feminine wash in the shower daily, since I figured I should use a ph balanced wash to keep the outside as fresh as the inside. Really could not be happier!

Anyone suffering from BV needs to try this! Highly recommended!
