Rain water runs down my street (along curb) & into my driveway. Can I use this to build a lip at end of driveway so water runs past my driveway?

Hello. That's not what this product is designed for, it would be a temporary fix. Cold patch needs edges to butt up to, without them it will ravel away.

Would this work to fill a crack that varies in width from a half-inch to an inch?

it globally works. Put patch down run over with your car until compressed. The best solution is the burn in filler, pli stix. place near crack propane torch to fill hole. You can also use sand and driveway caulk. the cold patch is the easiest solution.

Will this work to fill a couple of dents, maybe an inch deep, caused by hydraulic car jack wheels?

Yes, be sure hole is clean and overfill it by maybe half an inch. Then tamp evenly and firmly. That should do it.

can it be stored if you don't use the whole bag

Seal the bag after opening andvit should keep, however, it will stick together and will have to be broken up.
