I absolutely loveeeee these nail clippers for my 3month-old! I was absolutely terrified to clip her nails when she was first born! She had very long nails and she was scratching her face up! I've used these clippers since she was a few weeks old, and they are greattttt!!!! At first I struggled a bit, but if you look through the little "spy hole" instead of looking towards the clipper and trying to put the nail in it, it makes it a whole lot easier! Then it's a piece of cake!! I recently lost my original pair, and so I ordered this new one, I also ordered a second (different brand) one to try which has a light and little magnifying glass, nope! Even with the light and magnifying glass, it's much harder. The Frida with the spy hole, I will forever use this one!!! You can see exactly what your clipping!! So NO ACCIDENTS!! I am no longer terrified to trim my baby girl's nails thanks to these "fridababy" nail clippers!! The little clipper part, the blade or whatever you want to call it, it's also very sharp so it cuts fantastic!! I was actually surprised with how smooth it cuts!! Literally the smoothest cutting nail clippers I've ever used!! The only thing, you got to have good lighting! It would be nice if they would make a pair with a little light on it! But other than that, these are absolutely amazing!! Game changer!! I highly recommend these Frida nail clippers with the spy hole!! Oh they also come with a little file, I don't use it but it looks like a good one. Good quality! With the nail clippers you can see every little thing you're cutting in the spy hole, so you can even get the little corners of the nail so there's nothing pokey.

My now ten year old has been using it since he was an infant and it's still going strong! It still makes very clean cuts, it doesn't cause the nails to shatter, and it's a heck of a bang for the buck! The plastic base makes it easier to hold especially when you're dealing with little babies and their precious fingers. It has a little slot on the upper portion that acts like a window so that you can see what you're cutting, if anything. In ten years, we've never had anything but nails cut. This is the best nail clipper design ever. I wish they made ones for adults.

Super easy to use and safe. I've tried other baby nail clippers, and I had a hard time cutting the nail or seeing what I was doing. I even had to press hard to cut it. This caused several accidents with my little one's nails. So, while looking for a better nail clipper, I found this one and was very happy to see how easily it cut my baby's little nails. The nail clippers are great! I love having the little opening to see my baby’s nails. However, the nail file did not work well for me. I felt like I was filing forever and never saw any progress and my baby woke up eventually.

Update: PRO TIP: it's important to face the correct direction while using these! I previously laid baby on changing table and tried cutting her nails while standing by her feet (the direction you'd normally change a baby). BUT, once I turned the other way, basically went on her side so I was facing the same direction, this worked WAY better. It's the direction you'd face if cutting your own nails. Baby was much easier to manage and this felt safer. Original review: These work amazing! I was able to cut all my baby's (6 week) nails while she was sleeping with only minimal flinching. I had previously bought an electric baby nail file that didn't really work, because I was scared to use nail clippers on baby. But these make it very safe. The peep hole, the unique curvature, and the way the clippers are positioned all made it very safe and painless for baby. Plus they just work very well at cutting baby's nails. Would recommend you get these right away!

I mean I used to get super sweaty from stress when cutting my baby’s nails because once I cut her finger a little bit and I cried more than her… after discovering this nail clipper, my fear of cutting her again totally disappeared because now I can see what I’m about to cut!!! Seriously, genius!
