I got this game for my children (11 and 8 yrs old) and they absolutely loved it. They did not want to use the clue cards too easily and really did some impressive thinking and code breaking work. The riddles are really varied and fun to solve. The first time it can seem a little too hard at times but the clue cards are there to give a hand and there is a solution card too, in cases where more help is needed. We have gone through 3 games already and absolutley love them. Great way to develop problem solving and lateral thinking.

We'd tried a level 3 exit game before and find it quite a challenge so went for a 2 this time. It was perfect! Took 3 adults 3 and a half fun hours. There were clues if you needed them but usually we didn't and various "strange items" which you often needed to use to solve each riddle. Once you solved each riddle, you moved on to the next step to escape from the enchanted forest. Highly recommended if it's your first go at an escape game.

We've done two other Exit games from the range. We loved the Pharoah (4/5 difficulty) but found the Catacombs (5/5 difficulty) unbelievably hard and gave up! We bought this one as it was a 2/5 and might be more manageable. It was definitely better, some puzzles were very easy and others more challenging. Overall it took us almost 2 hours and we used 4 hints. Would recommend as an entry level game for those who are new, or for those who find the harder versions too difficult like us! Not sure about the 'special cards' at the end of the game, as a game for teens/adults this seemed a bit unnecessary. On a side note, would also like to see Kosmos make more versions without the need to cut or draw on resources (or the ability to order replacements). I probably won't order any more due to the one-use nature of the product. I would like to be able to pass onto friends and family to play when I'm done, or even sell on eBay, etc.

First time playing one of these EXIT games with my partner. We love mystery case files, escape rooms etc.. and this is a great inexpensive way to have some fun and spend quality time. It's really well made, very compact and there's a lot of satisfaction getting the answers right after working out the riddles. We both really enjoyed it and purchased a second one before even packing up the first. Definitely recommend.

These are great fun. It's actually quite cool to know you are only using it once so cutting things is allowed! It took us some time and we used a fair amount of the clues but once we got the hang of how the puzzles worked we found it got easier and by the end we had a great time and would definitely buy another of these.

Can only play once, too hard for a 10 year old, more for adults! Too expensive for a game u can only play once! It is very challenging even for my niece and nephew who are both very intelligent and both have degrees and a master! My 10 year found it too hard. But still think for a game you can only play once the price is too much

Shame it’s only to be played once (as you cut and write on the cards etc) but a cheap, fun game with just the right amount of difficulty. We streamed the instructions, timer and mood music to the TV and used a few clues to keep us going. Lovely theme! Our first exit game and will definitely buy more. Little difficult for our youngest (12) but such a fun way to spend the evening. Everything well thought out and neatly organised, plus a keepsake at the end. Def recommend

Ho regalato questa “escape room” gioco a mio marito per Natale. Ci abbiamo già giocato e ci è piaciuta tantissimo e ci ha intrattenuto senza un momento di noia. Non troppo difficile e allo stesso tempo nemmeno facile. La pecca è che essendo che ci sono parti da tagliare, il gioco non è riutilizzabile.

Bought to do with my kids after reading that the theme was the most kid friendly. My 9 year old was totally engaged and we managed to solve most of the puzzles with only needing a couple clues during the whole game. My 7 year old came in and out, but also loved helping to solve it when we had figured out the mechanics of a riddle. My kids play a lot of games and so maybe they’re a bit more advanced, though I probably would not have suggested it for them a year ago. Lots of fun and very satisfying.
